Ugh, been ill and haven't eaten for two days.

The best part of being ill, no work.

The worst part, having a 12 week old puppy who doesn't understand why I don't want to run around the garden with him like normal.

Diesel and Lucky are about the same size now. She is 12 yrs, he is 10 weeks!

I just sneezed and bit my tongue.

10 weeks old and out for walks.

Learning to sit.

My mum accidently stepped on him last night. He screamed for ages and couldn't walk on his back leg.

We had to call out the vet. He is fine now, nothing broken, just a bit bruised.

It cost £86.

Diesel only woke me up once last night.

And I thought he had the hang of going outside to do his doggy business but he has just peed on the kitchen floor.

Nice.

He can't go out for walks yet. Another two weeks.

I slept in the living room last night. He slept from 9:00pm till 2:00am and I let him out in the garden, then he slept untill 5:00am.

I have been trying to improve the relationship between him and my older dog Lucky. Training them together seems to work. He is learning how to sit and she is learning that he isn't too bad to be around.

Here he is.

He is so full of energy and is a lovely looking dog but he whines constantly if I'm not in his sight. I have one week to prepare him to be on his own for a couple hours during the day while I leave for work and my Mum returns from work. I have spent two nights in the kitchen with him and one in the hallway with him in the kitchen behind the puppy gate. He is getting pretty good at sleeping at night but if I put him there during the day and leave him he cries.

Any advice?

My friend Craig says that he will call him Ace too. The poor dog is going to be so confused!

I am ashamed that it has taken me years to realise this.

But I am also ashamed that if I'm not here for a while I miss some you you lot. It is a choice between wanting to chat to you all or stabbing you in the eyes with spoons.

Can't say that I like the guy. I alway felt he should have had more respect for the dangerous creatures he was messing with.

But I feel deeply for his poor wife and young children.

The pup is mine but I don't pick him up until Friday. There are a couple pics in the 'Show your pet' thread. Expect many more pictures of him soon!

Chimps are apes, not monkeys, though: no tails.

Don't care, don't like them. Of course I would never want any harm to come to any of them but I saw a program once about a chimp. He walked like a man and only liked human woman. He smoked cigars and wore clothes. Ugh, I hated it.

Maybe this should be in an irrational fears thread!

I hate monkeys. Chimps are the worst. I love every other animal on this earth but chimps creep me out.
