A dry week, Pooks, no booze. I've been overdoing it lately so I thought I'd spend a week drying out.

 

There's no cholesterol at all in grapefruit, but there's something in it that interacts with the medication, so you can't eat or drink it while you're on the stuff.

I see thought it odd as grapefruit can't have much but water and vitamins in it.

That is a funny story indeed, but you're right, honesty is the best policy.

And some of the stuff in Preacher IS enormously offensive, intentionally so. You don't have to be a zealot to be offended by the idea of the offspring of Christ being inbred lunatics. And there's nothing wrong with being offended by that, it's just how you deal with and express that.

I get there's many many smart people in the US but you are a early, really religious country in comparison tonBritain and tbh I think some of the stuff in Preacher oils be too much even for some of our Chriatians. You e very vocal , powerful religious people.

I can happily lose the sex investigators but yes, I don't want o wait multiple seasons for Starr to become a main character. But I wonder how they'll handle all the Grail/bloodline stuff as I can't see American audience overwhelmingly accepting it.

I don't really like most of the changes to the characters personalities. I really don't like how Tulip's back story has been changed. I see no reason for her to now be from a stereotypical "bad" family (prostitute mum, deadbeat uncle) other than to show how Jesse was so kind as a child blah blah blah. If they wanted her to have a tragic past simply changing her dad's death to a less comic one would have been fine.

I find Jesse very dull and I'm hoping the Saint actually IS the Saint and not just some mass killer in Hell.

Slink, yes I have see. Spring and I rather enjoyed it, which I did t expect as I thought it wouldn't be my kind of thing.

I'm going to finish this off then not bother next season. I'm not the world's biggest Ennis/Dillon fan but this has been a dissaoointment for me.
