How painful would be a tattos on the side of a finger?

I doubt it would be that bad. I don't have a finger tattoo but i imagine your hands are reasonably tough as they're almost always exposed. Plus it couldn't be a large tattoo so it would be over quickly.

I know some heavily tattooed people though so I can ask if you like.
