In Sendai most of the clubs have signs with No Foreigners on them. There is a street about a mile and half long just filled with clubs. In front of each club are girls dressed in various outfils sailors, school girls and playboy bunnies etc...
They will not be rude to your face that is for sure.

What a rebal that one !
I know it was funny because it was about the only thing he could do.

Japanese prison is quite different from American ones. You can't look at the guards or talk everything is very regimented. This one american in for rape was trying to rebel by growing out his hair. He pretty much just lived in his cell after that.

There was a guy in Hawaii who ran one of those mail order business's that had twenty women on his ranch. He was reported to of had them going about topless doing chores.
I did know one guy who had a mail order bride. I felt so bad for the girl this guy was overweight bald and didn't have a stable job. She could speak pretty good english actually. It is very expensive to process the naturalization paperwork. The cheapest way is to do it through a church.
I used to process marriage paperwork in Japan for japanese nationals marrying americans and that was one sad one hour of my day. You would see these ugly, ugly guys sometimes with missing teeth with some pregnet girl who couldn't speak a word of English. My doctor would always fret about, " what the hell comes after sex there is no communication." There was one master sergeant who actually said the reason he raped a japanese national was he couldn't communicate with his wife.
The best part of the marriage paperwork is nearly 1/3 of all Japanese test positive for TB so they can't get x-ray if they are pregnet thus no paperwork. So, this means they'll be quite pregnet by the time they are married.

Had my e-bay account hijacked today it took me about an 1 hr to contact someone via live chat. The worst part was my auction ended prior to me being able to contact them. I really hope the guy who one didn’t pay into a different account or such. Have you ever had that happen to you? I had to cancel my debit card as well so they'll be no shopping for me this week curses.

This my newest one is of a French nun's vision of the inferno. She brings her whole church for the journey. She is protected by an iron cage. The border designs came from the fantastic doorways at Kilpeck and St. Ebbes in the UK. As for my will, I think it is my desire to hone my skill through trial and error.

I just graduated this summer with a masters in Social Studies and Elementary Education. Much to my dismay the teacher certification section forgot to mail in my accreditation thus robbing me a job offer in Arizona. I've re-enrolled and plan to earn an endorsment in Art and then in summer take special education classes. I am sure to get a job teaching special ed. Social Studies and Art are a real long shot and would be the most gratifying to teach.
It seems that three years of my life have been spent stuck in neutral getting this masters. I wasn't thrilled when I had to take about 12 undergraduate courses since some of my BA work didn't transfer over.

guess i'll order it. thanks.

Has anyone tried messing around with Marvel's cd-rom compilations of the Fantastic Four or Amazing Spiderman. I am thinking about getting the Fantastic Four. Though, i read it lacks the annuals which conclude quite a few of the storylines.

James you are receiving more of the spotlight than Mina in this thread.

I got a 25, for what its worth.
You are a proud wizard reader.

I know they are going out of their way to make you feel dumb. I know I lost points on the Hellblazer Ennis question.
Eat my smug superiority, you mouth-breathing bottom-feeder. I won that one, because I don't like Ennis much these days. Hah!
Truly, I am a connoisseur, a fine exemplar of everything which makes comics great.
My collection of multuple variant copies of Rob Liefield comics shall protect me from your superiority.
I admit it, I am a cretin.

This is link to Comics Journal knowledge test.
I scored a low 15 out of a 100. But you can go way below zero.

What we do know about you is that you have clearly rejected human culture for the most part, and art most especially. You regard art with a certain degree of hostility.

It would be nice if DC did put together a compendium of all the Vertigo characters it is hard to keep them all straight.
James you are quite humble about your abilities.

Surely Lyra is suggesting that James *could* write the definitive JC for DC WW?
I mean, it hasn't been written yet.
Correct that is what I am suggesting.
-
Lyra - I'm not whoever you seem to think I am!
A really good writer.
-
Lyra - even the buildings are part of the vision?
Interesting....is it okay to ask which nun? and which book?
I wish i knew. I was just copying stuff out of the rare books section and came upon it a few years ago. Here is the text from the page it is in french. There are about 5 images each with a variation of a vision of hell, demons tempting or interfering with her prayers.
-
James would be a great Hellblazer character.

My brother gave me his entire Invisibles collection today. I've never read them before. I'm reading them in between working on a new book carving. The new book cover is based on this really strange vision a nun had of hell. She is protected from the flames of hell via an iron cage in a church.

After reading the interview, I think I want James to write the next Hellblazer storyline.
???? Not likely! I'm rubbish at fiction.
What about the definitive biography of John Constantine for DC'S who's Who?

Kyoto is really nice. I had some guy try to molest me in Nara. He was riding a bike following me and grabbed me in the nads.
