I finished reading Sovereign by C.J Sansom and found it to be enjoyable read. Now I'm reading the Lunatic Cafe and find it to be favorite book in the Anita Blake series yet.

The orphanage was great story although a little familiar and don't believe the cover when it says it was spooky. I give it an A for imagination and for very good storytelling.

Cloverfield was fun to watch and i listened to the commentary I give it an A-

La Terza Madre has gotten mixed reviews although people say it is very gruesome... they also said the story lacks a bit. I'll watch it when it comes here to America on dvd. Check out the trailer on youtube

I just re bought Once upon a time in America... If you have never seen this film you need to see it and make sure its 229 minute version. Sergio leone made a gripping masterpiece and the cast is spectacular.

A few of the later Dune books are pretty good, iirc. God Emperor Of Dune in particular.

I enjoyed God Emperor but heretics and chapterhouse were excruciating. The series lost its flavor after God... and really the first three are my favorite

In the commercial for the Oceanic Six Aaron was shown as a member... it doesnt have the same significane though as it being Sawyer or Jin but oh well only 6 more days till Lost returns. Yippeeeeeeeeeeee

The Brave One... It had sloppy ending but it is still a riveting movie

Dear Guy Ritchie, please divorce Madonna right now. Look to Sean Penn for help. Look at his career now so yo ustop making movies like swept away and Revolver which sucked so much ass it wasn't funny. I trust one day you will make more great films but really stop any sort of film making at the moment and get the divorce papers ready because you will never make a good movie as long as your with her. Having kabbala in your movie is cool when its not mind numbing and confusing as all hell.

Josh, that book sounds great--who's it by? I love subversive queer theory.

Queer theory in the 70's was very subversive and very interesting to see. Whether it was lesbians going out into the woods and prancing around naked or going off against monogamy as heterosexist. Its very interesting thing to study to say in the least. I woudl also read books about Stonewall and a few others that really show off queer culture.

I was suggesting to Mickey that you 4th guy might not like Anasi Boys as I think its not up to par with Neverwhere and American Gods. I left out a few words... Its what the Lortab does to me at night... I do suggest if you ever get your ahnds on it to read Robert McCammons Swan Song, boy's life, or Speaks the nightbird. I think you would highly enjoy those novels
