How deep in are you on Z-Nation ?

[ Spoiler : They just got to California and CZ is on his last battery. But I missed several prior to it. I have no idea when Vasquez joined the group and I'm assuming Mac died. ]

After binge watching the Z Nation marathon on Chiller all weekend, I can honestly say I've come around on it. Now, there are some awful awful episodes among them, but overall it's a decent brainless brain eater show. Btw, Murphy is a sack of shit.

I didn't like it as much as he did but it leaves the prequels so far in the dust they have ceased to exist as far as I'm concerned. I felt like it dragged a bit very often--it needed to in order for its plot to unfold completely and the biggest spoiler was obvious as soon as the scene in which it takes place started. If you don't love Star Wars, I don't think you'll like this movie at all. If you do, then I think you'll enjoy it enough to justify the time and money spent.

Rick & Morty is both of those.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse - I was looking forward to this movie but it was so low brow and pointless that it was just a flat out disappointment. No wait, it sucked ass. D

Absolutely Anything - You'd think a film starring most of Monty Python and Simon Pegg, which was written and directed by Terry Jones would be a monumental cinematic event. Simon Pegg stars as a man granted by aliens the power to do anything he wants, so the premise should have been dark and dirty, says me There were some laughs, but mostly it seemed bland and far from edgy or hilarious. The laughs were mainly just chuckles. I mean WOW! C+

American Ultra - a brutal sleeper agent awakened flick featuring too stoners in a rural small town in the northwest. the fight scenes were entertaining though completely crazy and unbelievable. But the CIA aspect of it was ridiculous. C+

Parasyte pt 1 & 2 - live action movie based on the anime series currently airing on adultswim. I think it improves upon the show. The fx were badass and gross and even though some of the situations were silly, both parts made for entertaining viewing. Pt. 1 B, Pt. 2 B-

Bone Tomahawk - Kurt Russell and Patrick WIlson star in by far the strangest and most fucked up western I've seen in a long time, if ever. It's basically just a rescue mission when a particularly brutal tribe of cave natives abduct a xian settler's hot as fuck wife. The husband, the sheriff, his old dottering deputy and some other guys set out to rescue her. It doesn't get that weird until the last 3rd or so. The dialogue is clever and the violence would make any bloody western fan cream his jeans. Best western I've seen since the True Grit remake. A
