  1. I'm pretty sure we've seen him make tea several times during the course of the series.

As for Angie and JC, well, I don't think it's ever really defined, so your interpretation is probably just as valid as anyone else's.

He's a coffee drinker. Anybody who's scripted him drinking tea paid no attention to Delano, and is probably an American.

  2. OK pretty new to hellblazer and have been buying tpb just got staring at the wall (to help me get a hold of the continuity of the comic) but can i ask is john actually going out (is it called dating in the u.s?) angie or are they just 'fuck buddys' im not sure im following their odd relationship and whats with the lack of her lately? just the odd appearance.

They were definitely an item at one point.

  3. "Although, I remeber in Veitch's Swamp Thing, the thugs (following John leaping out of the train) deliberately refer to him as a ponce.

Suppose his earlier sharp dressing and the G & T's are meant to allude to this too.

Theres that great line in the Horrorist too.

Then Garth made him straighter than straight, with guiness and hairs on his chest etc. Part of his simplification of the title.

Finding the inner bi-sexuality is common in the world of Magic too.

Would love to see damned good story that addresses John's bisexaulity. With a feasible relationship sexual or otherwise."

    Going in order:

1.)I don't think we should consider some uneducated punks who probably call everyone a "ponce" as evidence.

2.)Not unless Moore and Delano were still hung up over that whole wife-swap mess....Nah.

3.)That was Garth's way to hide the fact that he's pretty sure John is flaming gay! :p

4.)John isn't that into magic. He's a lazy bastard who puts aside all the dogma. I can't see him getting all poetic about magic like Alan Moore.

5.)Nah....I don't think it's that big of a deal. It would seem out of character for John. He's usually just getting out of sex the pleasure of having sex.

    Maybe "otherwise".

He could have a case of the Howard Hughes' I suppose: that whole "Don Juan homosexual" thing popular with footstallers and pop stars...

  4. Oh by the way just to clarify that S.O.B. our president is not and I repeat NOT A TEXAN. That bastard is a transplant yankee who likes to talk tough shit. He's no more of a hard ass Texan than Keanu Reeves is the best actor to play John Constantine. So don't let that fake ass twang fool you folks just like David Caradine is not Chinese nor is Goerge W. Bush a Texan. Sorry if I got off topic there, I just get sick of having to apologize for that shithead because I'm from Texas.

Cool your jets. I think the last people to suggest that the chimp was Texan were the Dixie Chicks, and look what happened to them...

  5. I would just like to thank my ex boyfriend for (bear with me here) dumping me, so I could develop numerous celebrity crushes over the last year, culminating in Keanu, in Konstanteen, through whom I found you lot.

    Thank you, you [over-used word].

I think we should go to his house and hurt his penis.

For all we know the swine dumped kinki because she wasn't into that sort of thing...

  6. Nope, I don't think so. There've been a couple of issues set in villages in Yorkshire, but none in York itself from what I can remember.

Although if there were, I'd imagine it would be in one of the Jenkins issues.

That was the Grant Morrison story, wasn't it?

Where did Richie Simpson get burned up? I know that was outside of London, but I don't recall where it was.

  7. I just picked up the Apocalypse War:Judge DRedd graphic novel. I found out of all of the Judge Dredd comic's i've read over the years the Apocalypse War was by far the best storyline. I've never cared for judge Death or Dredd's arch enemies but the war between the Russian states and East Coast is just fantastic. It reminded me quite a bit of a Transmetroplitan story line a bit.

For some reason this graphic novel just went out of print and people are charging a quite a bit more than the cover price; double.

If the Cursed Earth and The Judge Child Quest are in print at the moment, you'd probably enjoy those ones as well.

  8. In Israel, an editor of a jewish newspaper is having a contest for jews to send in cartoons making fun of the holocaust and jewish people. He said no one can outdo a jew when it comes to making fun of jews. The criteria to enter the contest is simply that you must draw a cartoon and be jewish.

    A jewish newspaper in Israel?
