It was building to something like to a big part of the story, and it was overly explained throughout 20 pages, without revealing anything, just telling how important this thing was, and then the punisher shot it

True, if you read Avenging spider man you got a little insight into the fact that he seems to have BARELY changed, i dunno it all seems abit twaddle and off, is anyone comfortable with this villainous man not only winning but going on to undoubtedly have relations with peters girlfriend etc... He may be in peters body but im still seeing the old stumpy dullard. It feels really perverse for this man to be running around in peters skin and the more i think about it the more it gives me the creeps.

I know its a book, but its a character i've 'know' since i was very young, i don't mind him leaving the book and giving a new spidey a chance (I'd love ben back) but this really kinda freaks me out, i think its this kind of body swapping thing is just something i have not a taste for, i think too in depth about it and what the old mans doing in Peters body Hurrhh.

Since Mike Careys run, keep buying single issues then rebuy as trades, have all the ones i can currently get hold of. Read alot of back issues via the books and digital downloads (comixology).

Everyone seems more attractive than the last time i was here, perhaps its the beards :-P I myself epically failed with movember as although I'm now 'technically' a man i cannot grow a beard nor do any form of diy.

really want to get Far Cry 3, as soon as I know the PS3 version hasn't been totally borked. getting great reviews, and I loved Far Cry 2 (except for some big problems, all of which seem to have been solved in this one).

If its any help man i have the ps3 version and have had literally no issues (im a few hours in) Very enjoyable game.

I'm thinking Morgan will return at a pivotal point during the confrontation with the Governor, hopefully Tyrese can survive that!

Ok, i started watching the show the other month (and reading through the books currently on vol 12) and im loving everything walking dead related but...

What the hell is the problem with the show and black guys?

When Tyrese showed the person i was watching it with actually said "Oh maaaan does that mean that Dexter is going to die, hes only just joined and seem alright" i replied "Naaa its not really got a one black guy at a time rule"

Egg on my face. Currently Morgan> T-Dog> Dexter> Tyrese its not even remotely subtle, Although T-dog was a pointless character anyway im glad Tyrese has finally made it, should shake the show up abit and give a nice partnership with Rick, although the story of his daughter and her boyfriend looks like its going to be missed which is a shame.

Aside from anything im glad the books are used more as reference rather than a direct basis for the show as its far more interesting to see the characters develop differently to the books.

Amazing Spider Man #700-What the hell....? No way. I do not believe this. Marvel actually did that? I never thought they would. Why? It makes zero sense. I can't see this sticking. It seems like a ploy just to catch reader interest and get them reading the relaunch, like the most out-there scenario they could think up and still continue publishing a Spider Man title. I'm really shocked. I'm not pissed off, but I can bet that a lot of loyal fans are going to be royally angry at Marvel for daring to do this. At this point, my feelings for Spider Man are pretty low, and I don't believe for one second that this won't be ret-conned in a year (at most). It wasn't done in a very believable manner either, like they trying so hard to keep Peter Parker as Spider Man while at the same time, completely changing the status quo. Well, it'll get people talking.

I can't say it was a good story. At all. But, it was a memorable anniversary issue. Certainly not a classic, like Amazing #400. Is that the only really great anniversary issue of Amazing Spider Man? I don't think Marvel was recognizing anniversary books until after Amazing #200 (so that leaves out all the Lee and Conway classic runs), and #300 was Venom....#500 wasn't anything special. Geez.

I liked the J.M. DeMatteis back-up strip. I love DeMatteis. Apparently, he's written more stories in anniversary issues of Spider Man than any other writer. So, he always tries to get a story in for an anniversary issue of Spidey.

Oh, yeah....the issue is horribly over-priced. Eight freakin' dollars? Come on. But, since there were only two books out this week that I bought, I didn't have a problem with it.

I felt the same way man, and if it HAD to be a villain did it really have to be him? He's literally been the least interesting villain of the past few years and he's had the most going on.

I was still holding hope for it to be a ploy and to have maybe Miguel come back in time or something. My biggest hope was Ben would be back, that would of made it for me, ah well at least Kaines still looking like he has some interesting developments... In fact on that, why on earth do we need a less responsible when the scarlet spider book launched this year with the tagline 'All of the power, non of the responsibility'.

Finished Far Cry 3 and bloody loved it, probably my GOTY.

Just started getting into that John, spent a little while last night hunting Tapirs with an assault rifle. Really enjoyable game, Far cry 2 really turned me off so im quite please with this.

Got Assassins creed 3 for xmas too, pretty good so far too, again i got really bored with the last one (and the first actually)

I'll be buying it, just as i do Hellblazer, but i was pretty gutted, learned of the Hellblazer cancellation from Jay(nova) on facebook. Bastards.

I'm putting my guess in that it fails Hellblazer comes back as a nice Vol.2 :-).

Riiiiight after postponing a bit earlier this year i start my new job on Monday, so i have two days left and toysrus, and i honestly cant be slightly fucked doing them. I've really started to realise i hate the place. Which is a shame to be honest.

Its my birthday on tuesday so a leaving/birthday do on saturday night i imagine may leave me paraletic :-) so at the moment things are looking up hopefully soon i can get on a start living a 'real' life, move out get on with stuff etc.
