    Here this conclusion leads straight into Jeph Loeb and Joe Madaiderieiea's run.

    Yeah...real excited...

    The pair are the anti Christ to Millar and Hitch.

    Dont know how many people on here read, The Ultimates, but i personally love it and was excited to see what looks like an amazing final issue to volume 2. Thaught i'd post the synopsis and the cover (wrap around) to issue 12.

    I'd love to say homosexuals and communists just to watch the hate flow from people on the board e.g two recent huge threads but as it's not true i'd be lying in a truthfull thread which is something i hate ... see the relevance of this post now?

    Rapists! (and most criminals but these aggghhh they really get me there) They all need to experience hell here on earth before being sent there!

    Homosexuality isn't going to go away. In fact, GASP, it's actually going to grow more prevalent and accepted.

     

    Right now, we see how far our society has come based on sexuality by the fact that we feel it's perfectly acceptable to show a man and a woman kissing, yet it's not acceptable to show a man and a man or woman and a woman kissing.

     

    I can see the point that Marvel would not want to have to deal with parents complaining about them showing openly homosexual characters in their books that are read by children.

    I don't agree with their policy, but from a business perspective I can understand.

     

    Thank You! I know i couldn't put it the right way as i personally cant find the right way to put it but it would happen and thats why marvel steer clear .... and now where done!

    The Punisher

    Basically I came across this little comic book shop the other day that is the kind of shop you could easily walk past without ever noticing and thankfully for me was fairly local. So I went in, and after grabbing the first Transmetropolitan trade for a fiver my eye caught a whole pile of Punisher trades. In particular, one entitled "Smother Russia" by Garth Ennis and an artist whose name I cant now recall...

     

    Anyway, I thought the artwork was very easy on the eyes so to speak and with Ennis writing, it must be a somewhat entertaining read. I've been looking for reviews online for this trade but cant seem to find any. So is it good or bad? Where would be a good starting point for someone who hasnt read the Punisher at all?

     

    At min i'm at coll so haven't checked every post but In The Begining is as good a place to start as any it's the start of the max run which is brilliant iv'e got every issue so far and not one has let me down.

    Recently rearthed #1 & #2- the Delano signing on th 18th!!!- Emma appears as a ghost in issue 1 and returns with the ghostly crew in isue 2.

     

    What is of interest is the differences.

     

    Issue 2's appearances are the regular ghosty crew we know and love.

    But in issue one she may actually be Emma's spirit and this challenges the validity of issue 2's ghost crew- who are typically ghostly and dont speak.

     

    Furthermore Emma's "actual" appearance in issue 1, may be the catylyst for John's articulated, but conveniantly delayed guilt manifesting these ghostly ghosts in issue 2.

     

    He also mentions that he has finally lost it.

    I dont have the Swamp thing material right before me, but was #2 the first appearance of the ghosly ghost crew?

     

    Again this is the supremne nuances of Delano's run (or there was simply a mistake between issues??)

     

    I was wandering that too ... the crew make further appearances a few issues later it's all in The Original Sins TPB .. i baught it a while ago but haven't got round to reading those particular issues with how many back issues iv'e picked up lately i dont know if i'll ever be through it.

    I just saw this programme on paramount comedy this weekend ,that im sure everyone hated but i loved it, called life on a stick thaught it was classic! but now iv'e been teased with a few episodes find it really was those few then was cancelled!! So now i wish i had never watched it as i'll miss it.

     

    But constant new episodes of family guy and american dad YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
