  1. Just finished Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. It was much better than Choke, and a very fun read. However,  I found that I actually liked the ending in the movie better (then again, the book lacked a Pixies tune to end on), and I think the actual story works better in a visual format.

Otherwise though, a great book that I enjoyed reading.

I think I'm just about the only person who liked the book's ending better. Even Palahniuk said he liked the movie's ending. For me, the last chapter of the book just rocked. Although I think I liked the movie better overall, which isn't usually the case with me.

I abandoned On a Pale Horse and am now reading Under the Net by Iris Murdoch.

  2. That's why Coralys was accepted almost immediately, while some unnamed members who have been here longer are still not accepted.

Hell, at least Mick doesn't do shite like this: "U BOYZ ROCK, HOMEY TO THE 3RD PWR! BOO-YAH!"

We'd have had to ban someone if they wrote like that...eeewwww

Wait. I was accepted because I didn't like the Constanteen movie?

  3. Grey's Anatomy just started. (2nd or 3rd eppy last night)

For the strangest of reasons, I think Sean Penn

    whenever the attending physician appears

(he's the one who is nuts about Dr. Grey, btw)

To whomever has seen this series, who is that guy anyway?

I never get to the TV on time to see opening credits.

That's Patrick Dempsey. He's Canadian. He was in that shit Reese Witherspoon movie Sweet Home Alabama.

  4. The Girl Who Would Be Death was surely one of the most egotistical and pointless projects Vertigo ever approved. I have such a hatred for that series. If you're not hanging out a Goth clubs every weekend, you'll never be able to understand the subtle genius that went into that work :icon_rolleyes: !

I wasn't over fond of that one myself.

Thanks. I won't read it then.

  5. Text messaging is one thing. Posting is another. And I do believe it's been established that like everyone else here I'm unusual. I'm a 16 year old who's posting here, and I'm not even someone who just loved Constanteen.
