Josh - you disliked Fabry's covers? :o
Not all of them, but many of them are at least somewhat grotesque. Fabry's truly good covers have nothing ugly in them but there are too few of those. I think he's a better cover artist than Sean Phillips, but Phillips had a lighter touch with his subject matter that I much prefer. Bradstreet includes some grotty matter in some of his covers, but all of his covers have a very clean look, and never achieve the scrofulousness of some of Fabry's.
I have a love/hate thing for Fabry, myself. I hate his grotesque stuff and even when he isn't being grotesque it's sometimes really unappealing, but sometimes they're quite nice.

No, I mean this Mr. E thing's just too complicated. I have no idea what you or anyone else is talking about! All I know of this character is from The Books of Magic, so now there's all this new information. Plus, I think too many different writers are doing different things with him, so: really complicated! I won't even try to understand.

(One wonders if Gaiman was told to make the Eremite E's evil twin rather than the man himself purely because his editor liked the character, rather than somebody else having important plans for him. Either that or somebody realised that Death's comments about meeting E in Ankhara was contradicted by the fact that the Eremite seems incapable of dying...)
Ahhh! Too complicated!

What exactly is Googlebot? Why is his name not underlined!?

Isn't there already a thread for this?
Anyway:
Tell us your:
Middle name: Don't have one. I'm chinese.
Type of Pets: Don't have any. Used to have two cats.
First video game you remember playing: Um....
Crush you had in high school: I am still in high school, so... it's too embarassing.
Favorite car: Um... I don't know much about cars.
Favorite snack: I'm not a picky eater.
Favorite European City or Place: I've only been to three places in Europe: London, Dublin and Paris. When I go to more places, I'll have a better idea.

Shouldn't this be in the "Hellblazer TPB Thread" ?
I was just thinking that.
-
The first Heartland was at the end of Tainted Love, I believe. The bigger, better Heartland appears at the end of Rake at the Gates of Hell.
Thanks.

What does "uch" mean?
-
Is it in the collection of the story with the nazis? (Can't remember the title of that one offhand.)
Fear & Loathing? I don't think so. I own that one and it doesn't have it.

I'm kind of on spring break. Our school doesn't really have spring break. Instead we have a longer easter break, which just isn't the same thing. I'm currently visiting my friend at Yale.

I only started watching it after it was over. I watched the reruns.
Yeah, the ageing thing was stupid. But the finale was probably worse. Keller kills all the Aryans with a chemical powder-thing. It was like the end of the first Blackadder series. Everyone falls to the ground waves their arms and legs in the air and dies.

I started reading something else that had E after he walked back. It had Constantine, too. The Trenchcoat Brigade, I think. How does that one fit in?
-
Which TPB was the one-shot Heartland collected in? I thought it was Tainted Love, but it turns out it wasn't.
-
Spike: Nice coat.
John: You too.
-
What was with those silly eye-tattoos he got on the back of his head near the end all about though ?
That was never mentioned except once.
-
Was there two Heartland(s)?

I was under the impression that the Ellie and baby story was in Delano's run. But now i checked and I realised it wasn't.
Weird though, because I always thought that it was in Ennis's run, before something made me think it was in Delano's run. And now, it turns out it was is Ennis's run.

Being a Goth kid is tough. You have to dress up everyday, dye your hair and not crack a smile or show any interest in anything.
That is why I finally decided not to turn goth. Also, if I did, I would have had to get rid of all my pink underclothes, which are considerable.
-
I really liked Ennis's run on Hellblazer. I think it's my favorite. I haven't read any by Jenkins and I'm only now starting to read the Delano stuff.

John Vs. Oliver Cromwell
Oooh.
What about Constantine vs. Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? They have so many similarities.
-
Thanks. So there aren't as maybe bad ones as I thought there would be. Ennis wrote The Authority? I thought that was Ellis.
-
I actually read the first Death miniseries, too. That guy was Mr. E?
-
I haven't actually read Small Gods. I just read in this like, guide to books or something that it was very good.

I've been posting regularly while I am on vacation.
What was that in response to?
Sorry. I meant I am mental. So mental I've been posting while on vacation.
