  1. From what I remember, Max Schrek shoots the Penguin. Although in that same movie, Batman does blow up one clown and torch another.

I honestly do not remember that happening at all from the numerous times I've watched that film. Batman sent some bats at Penguin and they attacked him as he fell down into the water in his hideout thingy. And if I recall, it was the heat that caught him that was getting to him. I remember him saying so himself.

  2. I still read Spawn and I make sure I pick it up every month, I'm just one of those fans, I guess, but I never let all that Tood McFarlane problems get to my reading. Although after picking up Hellblazer, I fell as if Spawn is baby stories compared to it.

  3. I never saw the original Texas Massacre, I only saw the remake which I love to watch and creeped me out in certain scenes.

And Candyman, wow, I don't remember ever being scared in my life, lol. I remember when I was being peer pressured to say his name in front of the mirror and I was scared as hell, lmao. Till this day, I don't even think I'd dare say it in the mirror

  4. I never really enjoyed Blair Witch Project. I remember watching it in the dark when I was eleven and being extremely bored, hoping to be scared. When I was sadly disappointed, my mom introduced me to the Exocist in which I watched in the dark after hours in my living room by myself and being scared as hell. (I still can't believe my mom let me watch it along.)

But probably my fav horror film is Sleepy Hollow. I remember just jumping from certain scenes like when the heads fell through the tree, and till this day I could watch it over and over again.

  5. I really dunno about this flick. Till this day I still dont approve of Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman despite her "HOT" factor. And I'm no where impressed by her acting. I think Chris Evans as Human Torch was a good choice, but his lines so far are cheesy, and I suppose Torch is pretty cheesy in the comics too, but w/e.

I do have a question about Doom, tho. Isn't Doom suppose to have an accident that scars his whole face which is why he puts on the mask? Because when I see the trailer w/ McMahon, he has his normal face and I don't like that, although I think that McMahon is a great pick for Doom.

  6. I just finished watching Elektra and all it's special features a few hours ago and I'm not quite sure what to think of the film. The very first time I ever saw the trailer I was hyped, then every1's reviews of it made me not care for it at all.

But I finally saw it today and I felt that people made it seem like the worse movie ever made but it really wasn't. The story was nothing to brag about, but it wasn't great. The story seemed to rushed and imcomplete. The characters were not too developed, but the visual effects (especially the Typoid Mary effects) were great.

I dunno, this movie was ok, not a fav, it seemed inspiring tho at the same time for me, I dunno how or why, but I felt inspired while watching it, especially the special features. But once again, not too sure what to make of this film.

    What you guys think?

  7. Well, I haven't been able to get a chance to buy From Hell yet and I always hear it blows the movie away, but before I even knew the film was adapted from a comic, I was in love with the movie for some reason. Then like two years later I heard that it was an abomination to the comic, but I still love the movie. I'm hoping to buy the From Hell comic anytime soon though...

  8. Damn, there's a lot of comic based movies that I'd say are my favs.

My top favorites are Batman Begins, Batman Returns, The Crow, Constantine, Blade 1, Hulk, and Daredevil.

The others would include Blade 2, Sin City, Underworld (the comic adaption was beautiful), the first Superman, X-Men 1 and 2, From Hell, and I'd say that's about it.

I didn't really like Hellboy, Blade Trinity, or the Spider-Man movies. I thought the Spider-Man movies, especially part 2, was ridiculously overhyped for no reason. When I first saw it, I couldn't wait to end because I found it so boring, when I watch it again, I force myself to watch it from beginning to end. Only thing I really like about that movie is the tension b/t Pete and Harry and Doc Oct although I felt he was underused.

  9. Yeah, I figured that much about John's POV not being used from readin the recent issues and Red Sepulchre. I just think it's rather nice to be in John's head and read how exactly he feels at the moment in his own words.

And I'm sure this arc was a fresh air from Azzarello's work. For some reason I am refusing to by, or even look at, Azzarello's run in Hellblazer, I really can't seem to stand his writing. Just yesterday I was having a long discussion at this comic shop w/ the dude who works there about us not liking his work and him being over-rated. <Sighs> O well, back to the topic...

  10. Finished Red Sepulchre earlier today. I'm not too sure what to exactly say about it so I think I'm gonna read it all again. The story to me seemed a bit filler IMO and I feel that Carey should have the narration based on John's POV, I always found it much better and compelling read.

It was fun seeing Map again, I hope he comes in later issues. He's a nice mystery guy and I like him like that. There's not much to him, yet he's not overly used that he he doesnt get tiresome.

What did you guys think of issues 175-180? I wanna know your opinions...

  11. Hey guys, I need help finding a Danny Elfman song. It's from the Hulk Soundtrack and it's the song where Hulk is contained and being sent to the military base and the planes are moving along the desert. Any1 by any chance know the name of this piece?

  12. i really cant wait till the next comic comes out the guy at my comic store tells me ill be the last one to get it and he really wont give it to me untill theres only one left
