My god we're a depressive bunch at this forum ain't we. I was well down yesterday for no particular reason but today I'm over it and now I'm a little bit manic.

It's quite tricky. I think the thing to do is to take it slow and anticipate when they are about to appear and then back the fuck up whilst laying down some lead.

I saw that one Lou and it is fucking sick! It's odd that he doesn't notice until he tries to stand on it. But it goes so fucking limp it's like a piece of meat with no bone at all in it.

Saw another equally horrifying one with some guy playing football and his leg bends at the knee the wrong way makes me cringe just thinking of it now.

Yeah the big threat isn't aircraft but a bus or lorry with a moderate amount of explosive in a tunnel or on a bridge.

actually - this is because in serbian we have two words - camera, for that thing that is used in making moving picktures, and fotoaparat - an apparatus for making photography. so we have digital photo-cameras, and camera-cameras, and i have this 2nd type, but it can also take pics as a digital photo camera, as a 2-in-1 kinda deal... so, when i say "camera", i mean the movie camera...

I see fan films becoming more and more common as fanfic has due to the prices of video cameras coming down. It's probably a good thing too although we'll get a lot of crap made the group mind of the interent will see the good stuff rise to the top and get a wide audience.

We'll have to see if the media corporations crack down on these infringements of copyright though. I hope they don't.

Bush attacked Kerry's position on Iraq and the threat of Saddam Hussein and Kerry retorted excellently that the Bush government had been so caught up with the false threat of Iraq that they had taken their eye of the ball with respect to North Korea which is much further along the road to having nuclear weapons.

That is an actual old American folk tale which Gaiman used as I had heard of it before. It may have originated elsewhere and travelled over with immigrants though.

It was about 12 pages long. I could scan the pages and email them to you if you can't get hold of it any other way. It is a great little tale well worth reading.

Maggie did indeed bail her son out. But he is still awaiting trial whether he tries to escape justice and fail to appear at his trial is something we'll have to wait and see.

I posted this in another thread but this one seems more appropriate.

I love H.G. Wells! He's an excellent writer and true forerunner for all things that are science fiction unto the present day (although in some instances, I guess this isn't a good thing....). "War of the Worlds" would have to by my favourite by him.

 

I once write short stories about a vagina eating a man alive and a penis with a mind of its own raping women. Both were wonderful little stories that will never been seen in the light of the day! :)
