Ah there you are donny. I had to clear my cache as you were still shirtless.

24 hours real time have passed.
None of the fatalities that took place during John's three different lives actually happened in the real world. So neither Abby nor Gemma are dead. These realities were magically induced and now exist only as memories in John Constantine's mind.
For whatever reason, Rose was able to spit out three Constantine sired sprogs who in-turn all aged to their mid twenties within the space of 24 hours.
Anyway, I liked the issue, I was looking forward to seeing these "images of days yet to come", but like Mark was slightly confused by how the time scale fits into the present-day John. But I took it to mean that Rosacarnis took 24 hours from John's life (as agreed), but it was 24 hours from 3 possible futures for John. How does that sound? Not quite sure how that will end up with his kids coming back x-number of years to plague John in the present, but I'm sure there'll be an explanation for that someway along the line.
The ageing fits in sequence near enough.Let's give them 8 hours each - Adam is young then same age by the end.
Maria is fifteen (?)
Best of all, John's memories - his real ones - are clouded by the other three !
Top evil twist from Rosacarnis I feel.
Do you guys have a different version of #200 to me because in mine the kids haven't aged to their mid-twenties at the end. Page 44 in panels 2 and 3 you see Angie/Rosa turn up with the two boys and Adam is still a small 5-year old. We don't see Adam again. Page 46 you see Saul and Maria together (possible incest there as they are siblings). All in all the three kids seem to be the same age that they were in each of their own vignettes.
I don't think we are seeing possible futures here as the three scenarios are all constructed to the whim of Rosacarnis with her playing the role of the wife and mother in all three instances albeit disguised as women from John's past.

There was also a show like a spoof Open University from the 70's which I forget the title of, Ooh, I think it might have been Take A Look Around or something. Peter Serafanowitz (voice of Darth Maul, the boss in Shaun of the Dead, Duane Benzies in Spaced) that was really funny, too.
Look Around You featuring the vocal talents of Jack Morgan (BSc) and his song Little Mouse.

But if I don't come here everyday the voices in my head will start singing songs by the Spice Girls.

Well answer the question.

I think calls for another poll.

Ah a friend of yours. <_<

..and how we wish we couldn't see it.

You should welcome the new Harry Potter books then, because Rowling seems to have become so powerful that no editors are allowed near the books and so they end up being about 200 pages longer than they ought to be. ;)
Boring crap work it may be to translate HP but it should pay well.

so, does anyone have the exact location of that island...?
i'm going on a holiday, you see ;)
Which island?
If it's Pitcairn Island youre asking about (not over your thing for underage girls yet I see ;) ) the it is located in the south of the Pacific Ocean.

Rogan do you get a basic flat fee for translating or do you get more for translating a longer book. I'm assuming you are paid and not forced to do it by some evil slavedriver cracking a whip.
-
But what are the little men gobbling?
-
And you'll not be getting your hands upon my daguerreotypes to create a mocking depiction of me you damn East European cad. :D
I must try my hand at photoshopping once again and show my prowess at it.
-
That's brilliant Rogan took me a second to realise that it was Ben in the pic I thought you had just uploaded some old photograph.
-
Keeyah I think the problem you're having is that the image is too big.
It's 2048 x 1536 pixels, trying scaling it down to about half or a third of that size and then try posting it again.
-
Congrats on overcoming the first hurdle Ben and good luck for the future.
-
Search for the Rogan inside yourself.
Until you find the key to your life.

I'm on holiday at the moment but I haven't gone anywhere. I'm just catching up on the shit I've been putting off that I should have done ages ago like getting my CV up together so I can really start to look for a new job.
Typically I like a wide variety of different holidays but like Keeyah I'm not one for lying on a beach.

Oh man I'm so sorry Christian. Damn this fucking smiley icons as I cannot find one to display my feelings. It brought tears to my eyes to read that Harlan had died.
It may have been a short life but I'm sure it was a good one and he was lucky to have you as a friend Christian. My sympathies are with you.

Tom it's an example of John showing off his new magic powers acquired from reading The Witching.

I always suspected you were Luis for we have seen no photos of him, and he posted a lot less since your arrival.

5.We've got a war in Iraq that is getting to levels close to Vietnam. We just need that pesky Draft now!
I don't think we'll see that happen. The way the US fights these days is with technology, guided missiles and smart bombs and such like. No need for huge manpower anymore.
9.We've got a war on terrorism which looks and sounds suspiciously like a war on Communism from a few years back.10.We've got a war on civil liberties at home, unheard of since the glory days of Fascism.
I think these are intrinsically linked. The state wishes to restrict civil liberties so it will promote fears of terrorism which are way out of proportion to the actual danger faced. Also the War on Terror can never be won in the forseeable future as it will exist as long as their is conflict in the world and so the State can continue with their efforts to violate civil liberties indefinitely.
So, all in all, I'd say the Presidential debates looks exciting and interesting. I can't wait to see who I wish I could vote for: the Republicans or the Moderate Conservative Democrats."I agree with the puppet on the left.""No, I think the puppet on the right best represents my views"
"Wait a minute....there's ONE GUY! Holding both puppets!"
Depressingly true. I'd have been glad to hear that Kerry had Bush on the ropes a few times last night if I had any confidence that things would be significantly better with him as President.
Oh, and it looks like they're cheerfully disregarding all the recommendations made about the Florida elections in particular, meaning that thousands of voters will most likely be disenfranchised for no good reason. Mother fuckers.
Yes the two choices are hardly the opposite ends of the political spectrum are they. But I think the world would be far better of with President Kerry even if he is only slightly less conservative than Bush because he is not surrounded by people who wish to establish a covert American Empire.
-
I think Kerry's performance on the night or more precisely Bush's lack of performance has shifted the balance back after the last few weeks where Bush seemed to have pulled ahead in the polls.
I wonder what effect George Soros will have with his Why We Must Not Re-elect President Bush speech.

Here's one place it can be found:

While I think necro news stories are pretty funny generally, though a felony with up to eight years of possible jail time seems a bit stiff.

Do it. I loved Perdido Street Station although oddly it hasn't made me go out and read his other books, but maybe now I will with you putting the thought in my head.
