I'm a huge fan of Peter Sellers and from what little of the film I've seen 'The Life and Death of Peter Sellers' looks fantastic. Unfortunately my cinema ain't getting for another 3 weeks so I may have to defect to another cinema to see it this weekend.

That's the problem with the fact that Azzarello's and Carey's runs have really made John into a loner or a man with few "outside contacts".

Not a problem per se with the comic, but if you wanted to kill some characters off then you have to go back some ways to previous storylines if there is no current supporting cast.

Unless it's a case of stupidity running in the family and like Rosa the kids don't understand John well enough to kill people whose loss would have a traumatic effect on John.

according to the BBC Work on Halo 2 game 'finished'.

The sequel to the best-selling Xbox Halo game is finished, say its makers.

 

Developers Bungie said it had handed over the code to Microsoft for final testing.

 

"There are still many steps between now and the game's arrival on shelves, including the not-insignificant process of actually manufacturing millions of copies of the game," said Bungie.

 

Halo 2 is due to go on sale on 9 November in the US and two days later in the UK.

So just over 5 weeks to wait then until we get down to kicking some Covenant ass as Master chief.

I loved Halo when it came out but now it seems a bit old and out-of-date, hopefully with more of the same but better in Halo 2 I'll be getting no sleep from November til Christmas.

None of the demons John has encountered have seemed terribly bright, not even The First of the Fallen half the time.

I think book 4 of Harry Potter worked quite well even though it was stuffed with ideas and scenes that weren't necessary for the general narrative.

Book 5 was a fucking shambles with plotlines that were awful and unnecessary. The worst thing was damn red herrings virtually every chapter about the major character who was destined to die in the book.

I also agree with Mark. I think he hit the nail on the head when he says that it is only 24 hours of Earth time but that John lived through each of his three different lives shown like Picard in 'The Inner Light'.

... she's mighty cute though (nowadays her hair is down to her shoulders and blonde, which is less appealing to me for some reason).

Flood day three sucked . So far no one was hurt but one Woman is missing , her car found under water . It does not look good for her . The Ohio river will crest today around 9 a.m. causing massive property damage . I'm off to catch a couple hours down time and then back at it . If anyone meets up with this Ivan fucker kick him in the teeth for me and mine .
