The last few years have been fairly limp with regards to a forum Secret Satan-I-mean-Santa but I thought last year was rather nice with the Christmas cards and all that. 

So im wondering if anyone is interested in entering into the festive spirit and sending a card or two out, or some other pleasant gesture. 

Im aware some members have not had the best time of it this year, so if anyone fancies doing something nice for our friends please leave your name or an affirmative here and we can sort something out. 

It was a kids tv presenter who does an art programme on the little kids channel (Mr Maker of CBeebies). She enjoyed it but was pissed off cos she wanted to get up on the stage as she has to be centre of attention. 

No, no idea where she gets that from. *straight face*

Getting ready for Bonfire night

And we got to wear flashy Minnie Mouse ears. 

And glad Tigger is getting better. 

We did do Bonfire Night because nothing commemorates an attempted act of terrorism like a big fire behind a Working Men's Club followed by a kiddie's disco. 

It turns out my daughter has moves to shame even Elaine Benes. 

Anyway. 

I said to Romana

"my friend Tony, who got you Tigger* has been poorly." So she said 

"can we give him some pretend medicine?" So we had to give toy Tigger some pretend medicine- so you're in the clear, by my reckoning. 

*still one of her "bed toys". 

Tony- I've PM'd you but I think you've answered a lot in that post so don't feel you have to repeat yourself.

I'm sure Bava did at least one - Mickey Hargitty (of Jane Mansfield fame) did some. As usual they're rip offs of American stuff but I loved me an Italian rip off (see The New Barbarians and the others in the series as evidence of their lunatic brilliance, although I'm sure you already have).

I've a great book about Italian cinema, peplum, gialli etc- not the classy stuff. Might be in the loft. Must find.

The Peplum stuff, Dog? I really want to catch up on them when I get round to it. Didn't Bava do a load?
