what was on the schedule last friday?
On FOX, College Football from 8-11. NBC had "How Murray Saved Christmas on in Dateline's slot for the evening while everwhere else remained the same as scheduled.

I don't see much overlap in football fans and Constantine fans. I only know one person who likes both.
Is it Ironfist?
I will admit the 25-54 demo's are very good compared to how Nielson calculate the 18-49 overall. Still, with Fox's schedule back to normal this week, we can hope for that 1.0-1.2 along side the 3.75M I'm gunning for

The cast & crew have the scripts.
No filming beyond 13.
Yup. They have the following 3 scripts. The rest between this month and next month's renewal decision (if this friday's 18-49 demo return to 1.0 or better) is up to us wee viewers and the spirit of Lady Joanna

Straight from the Mary herself regarding the series pending fate:
You were filming when NBC announced they were scaling back on season one and ending production with episode 13. What was your, Matt's and the cast and crew's reaction?
We have up to episode 15 in our hands, and we wish you guys could see what a riot that would have been. That's going to get reworked for season two. I got contracted for 13 episodes. I didn't get contracted for 15, 19 or 20. The funny thing is, everybody got scared. "They are canceling Constantine." Well, according to my contract, I was only scheduled for 13. According to my timeslot, I knew I was going to have January and February and so on free. The true diehard fans got really scared saying, "Oh, my God. What happened?"
It's like, "Wait a minute. There are other series that started off a little slow, trying to see what they were doing." You see our episodes and the money going into those graphics and CG. When you are spending a pretty dime making these graphics look like you are going to the movies, it adds up.

Judith and Ol' Terry Thirteen in S2? I think so

i'm not familiar enough with him to know whether that's good or bad.
Alcoholic and 9/11 truther know to lash out toward Trekkies online. He and Kurtzman were responsible for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 script. On the TV fromt the duo are mostly associated with FOX's Sleepy Hollow having developed it with Len Wiseman.

Yup. Them ADR'ing Chas mentioning Zed at art class was added on during final editing before airing. Remove it, then it can be declared Ep. 2They probably renamed it, yeah. Caliban was obviously the 2nd episode.

I did a spit take when someone mentioned the medusa mask

OK, first off, poisonous snakes (except for cobras and mambas) all have triangular heads. Especially rattlesnakes, which are what we were to have assumed he was handling. And when Zed was seeing snakes at her feet, they were boas, yet they were rattling like rattlesnakes. I really wish someone had done their due diligence. They could have CGI'd a rattler on top of the boas for a more realistic poisonous snake.
none of those "rattlers" had a head like this.
The condom bit was funny. "we're going to see a preacher in a curch." "Good point." and he removes one of the condoms off the strip. That was some funny shit right there. And have I mentioned I am in love with Angelica Celeya? because I am. I think she is beautiful.
"Sharp tack, you are, luv."
So, this was the first time Manny appears to John without time stopping.
Angels are compartmentalized? Sounds like a conspiracy theory!
Zed sleeps in a tent out in the woods wearing make up?
John bashing skulls with a tree limb was cool.
Damn! Pull a bitch's heart out like a motherfucker!
A line right out of Time Bandits: "that's concentrated evil."
Oh, a mystery dude!
The show has turned into a demon of the week showcase, which on the surface isn't very cool but it's all part of the "Rising Darkness" theme that, although it is a pretty dumb term, it's still a compelling overall arc. It's almost like a Mike Carey multi-issue story arc that makes sense more as a complete work than it does an issue at a time. I liked this episode more than the previous, but I still rank it closer to the pilot and the previous episode than I do the better episodes so far. This sounds more negative than I mean it to, but I love where we are going. It's just that some parts of the journey are more compelling than others. I would like for the next episode to be adapted from the comics. I like the original stories too, but like with walking dead, i prefer some familiar tales mixed in with the originals so I can geek out more.
Between Carey, American Gothic and The Fear Machine, they're pretty much the show's blueprint wheras the New52 books just can't decide on whether it wants to be a bad DC book or a bad Marvel book or sometime a bit of both in its incoherent form of consistency

Rage of Caliban's L+3: 4.7 Million Viewers (1.47)
· "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8), despite the 10 p.m. hour, and also held 100% in adults, men and women 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.1 in each measure).
· Week to week, "Constantine" held onto 89% of its adult 18-49 rating (0.8 vs. 0.9), despite increased competition this week from Fox's football, while retaining 100% week to week in adults 18-34 (0.4 vs. 0.4) and 92% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.2).
· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, with the previous week's "Constantine" increasing by +63% in 18-49 (from a 0.90 to a 1.47) and 1.4 million viewers overall (3.3 million to 4.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

We're back at the same 3.13 as The Devil's Vinyl with the same 0.8 demo as Feast of Friends. Hoping it'll adjust up early next week.

So many cool twists and
The Resurrection Crusade at the end. I should've realised Eddie was one of them.

Soon it will be back to John versus Dr. Fate though. I don't expect this trend to continue. It was just an one-off.
Unfortunately, John's situation with his family has been changed by the events of the New 52. If this were Hellblazer's continuity, and the ending of the latest issue of Constantine happened, there would be room for exploring some interesting story potential. Imagine if this alternate world had John Constantine being raised by a caring father? How would our John react to meeting a version of his father who didn't treat him horribly? Instead, the New 52 ruins this chance, just like it ruins everything.
So the recent two issues were indeed flukes

When Soloman Grundy was turned green and talked normal... That creeped me out more than his proper skin and dialogue(answering my own question)
i didn't know swampy had teeth you could knock out.

Close but wrong section.
Anyway, the catch about the sigil is that if John dies, the sigil would lose power

If someone went on twitter implying that my work was substandard, I might also take time to encourage the (many more) people who liked it to #saveAHeathen which is what he's doing.
We know you won't go away.

So they're never going back to Quantum, then?
Or Quantum was just an alias for the big fish itself

Daniel Cerone made the mistake of engaging with that chap's twitter account, so it's gotten a little personal - both sides might be secretly happy that they can ride the 'feud' for a little more traffic but it's all very unedifying.
There's a stink of desperation to a lot of the official #saveconstantine tweets, almost come across a little like Chuggers chasing you down the street trying to shove their shitty little clipboard in your face! Half-expecting Cerone to start calling me on the half-hour asking why I haven't watched the latest fucking episode yet. If at any point he endorses some kind of fan campaign ("Send NBC disposable lighters!") you can take it as read that the series is done.
More like I made the mistake more than Cerone. I engaged the Cancel Bear first...

Comments seem to indicate that WB is the one denying the cancellation, whilst trying to move Constantine to a different network/venue.
TVBTN is too biased and ignorant for their own good to where they hate being proved wrong just like when FOX defied their cancellation prediction regarding Brooklyn Nine-Nine last season by renewing it. Just for that, most info for the remaining 7 episodes will come from The Futon Critic
