  1. So not to be that guy who returns to the forums solely to promote his stuff, but it's the middle of a pandemic and I figure you all have time to read or something like that.

    So...

Crossroad Press has published three of my books. Hag, my debut, and a haunted house story.
I Do Terrible Things, my extreme horror novel that features a gruesome murder every chapter.
Dark Draughts, a collection of my short work with a cover by Steve Bissette.

Available in paper or various ebook formats here:

  2. Soooo, I'm in the middle of reading Bombshells, and it's a quick but entertaining read. Not a lot of John, you can go ten or so issued before he shows up again, and he's always with Zatanna (so far). It's a big anthology series, so your fave characters might not get some love for a while.

John's characterization is OK. Not terrible, but he's not getting a lot to do, either. I wouldn't recommend it if you just want to Constantine, but there's some interesting world-building and revision of the familiar characters of DC.

  3. Both of these are limited editions. Thunderstorm books specializes in low print run, high material quality. The first one sold out in a month, and I expect this one will take a couple (since it doesn't have the Brian Keene factor to push it). There were 260 copies of Hag, and only 64 of I Do Terrible Things. Still waiting for a paperbackpblishe to get back to me about Hag, but I'm planning on a less exclusive publisher for Terrible Things.

  4. I'll stick my oar in and say that I have no reason to read this any more. I have read the series, and I don't remember anything about the stories. They aren't memorable, which means that aren't interesting. I remember having hte feeling after I have read the comics that nothing ainteresting happened. I'm bored.

I don't hate it. I have no reaction to it. It's a thing I do for about fifteen minutes, and then wonder why I paid money to do such a thing.

  5. Still think society will be just peachy knowing that the babysitter fucks other people in animal costumes while dressed like a wolf?

Yep. Most furries aren't into sex play with their suits. And if they are, doesn't bother me at all. Because whatever people get up to, sexually, is none of my damn business assuming full and informed consent. The babysitter could be fucking rabid comic book geeks and it wouldn't bother me.

y'know from that perspective,I should probably let it ride. It's not for me and it would make me think something was off mentally...but then again,I kinda got a bondage fetish and people might think the same thing about myself.Look,as long as it's safe, sane and consensual,do what you want.

but still...does that mean you wanna sex my cat? Cuz I got this really pretty cat...maybe hide the pets then?

    No. Really not into interspecies.

  7. I've read a lot worse. Like virtually everything in the New 52 title. Probably won't be my favorite John, the "I'm No Superhero" is there for people who don't know who he is. I could wish for a touch more subtlety, but this hasn't crushed my hopes of an interesting book.
