  1. Can i ask are you american? why do you assume we all drink tea all the time my gf hates it .... sayin that i love it and drink it all the time haha but still stereotypical and defintley not in those little cups sticking out pinkies that seem to be on T.V. And i think constantines more of a pint person rather than tea ... unless he drinks herbal rubbish to help him with magic or summat.

You're a shame to your nation.

  2. Here's mine:

    "You scored as agnosticism.

You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

    Agnosticism 88%

    Satanism 83%

    Paganism 79%

    Atheism 63%

    Islam 42%

    Buddhism 42%

    Christianity 29%

    Hinduism 29%

    Judaism 29%"

The thing is, I don't subscribe to any one of these "isms," even Agnosticism.

    I'm probably closest to Buddhism.

I like the first line "you scored...."

  3. I'm afriad of people misinterpreting compliments I post as being creepy.  :icon_rolleyes:

That's not what I meant. I wasnt referring to you at all. I was talking about the general upturn of creepy flirting on the board. What you said wasnt creepy, it was just a compliment, same as what I said and I was making sure to distinguish so as not to be interpreted as flirting with kinki. Jeez, explaining a compliment sure does detract from it

I know, I was just joking.

(I probably should have used this smilie  rather than this one :icon_rolleyes: )

(Thanks for the 'support' anyway GG.)

  4. Mind if I ask what?

(Sorry if I came across as being insensitive or harsh, it's just that I've known so many people who put off getting their license and it was never for a good reason, usually it was due to laziness or an irrational fear.)

Another thing is, if you're not getting your license because you won't have a vehicle to drive, or you can't afford insurance--- go get it anyway.

  5. So...um...did anybody...you know...see a certain TV show this weekend?

Me and The_Question did (not together, mind).

So, are you gonna spill the beans?

Again, freakin' hilarious! Whose idea was it to have you running around in your underwear and going into a laundromat to "borrow" someone else's pants? Genius.

Oh, and from now on I shall refer to you as "Palmer."

  6. Oh, and the best part of working out? You can intake tons of calories within 2 hours of finishing your workout. During this time your body will take all this food and use it to replace what you've lost, plus build new muscle.

Of course, this is just a general theory, and may not work for everyone; but it holds true for most people. (By the way, you can eat a bunch of food, but it still can't be crap.)

  7. Since I'm now getting into them, could someone recommend me which Radiohead album would be best suited to a newbie such as myself?

I would suggest going in chronological order. That way, you can hear the evolution of the band and be better prepared for the changes they made in their sound post-OKCpu.

Pablo Honey is a really poppy album, but still pretty good.

However, you could easily skip their first album and start with The Bends. I would then move on to OKCpu and the rest.

I enjoy all of their albums, but I'm glad I started with The Bends and then listened to OKCpu.

Also, AMG doesn't always know what they're talking about.

See which album they recommend for The Flaming Lips for proof.

  8. And what the fuck did Josh Smith throw the tape down for? Sure didn't use it.

    Good question.

It was hilarious when the commentators were asking the same thing.

In fact, thinking of it just now has me laughing......... The way everyone in the building got so pumped when he put that tape down well before the freethrow line, the way the cameras cut to Dr. J, the way Kenny Smith kept saying he would get up and leave the building if Josh Smith dunked from there.... then....... nothing.

  9. So spider, you must be pretty happy about your boy Dirk winning the 3-point shootout......

The dunk contest was sweet, especially that crazy sh!t Igoudala pulled in the first round.

The all-star game however, is complete rubbish.

They should have done the Pistons vs. the rest of the league. That would've been worth watching.

  10. You can always use the treadmill to walk at a steady pace.  6 miles of walking should be equal to 3 running and it doesn't wear you out as much.  Or better yet go walking in your neighborhood--you'll notice all sorts of things you didn't when driving and it's good for pondering things.  I usually walk about 3-4 miles every day and I now I'm familiar with all the homeless people in my area.

Lemme guess, you live in Ocean Beach?

  11. sethos:

No, but i heard of it.

Linklater seems to be (according to IMDB) a good director/writer too.

What films would you suggest to see from him apart waking life?

    And yeah, it looks incredible!

Like some very flashy and vivid anime or cell-shaded computergame.

Though i prefer real design :)

But if they make it so astounding (like i hope eg. 300 will be), why not :)

    Curious how they do it.

    Very good technique.

You really haven't seen much Linklater?

Dazed and Confused is one of the best movies of all time. So many classic lines and moments. Though, to be honest, I don't know how enjoyable it will be for non-Americans. Well, that shouldn't matter. See it.

Suburbia and the Newton Boys are shit, Slacker is good, and Before Sunrise and its sequel Before Sunset are also good.

Dazed and Confused is a must-see.
