not really...do you know die toten hosen? well, thay are around 40 and they still kick ass.See, here is the perfect example of why i feel that way about bad religion...the never bothered to evolve.If you listen to die toten hosen they started as a punk band,they are still a punk band...but in their records they go trough a lot of other styles, combine them,experiment with them...and the result is awesome.Like the clash did.....so i guess thats what happened to BR in my opinion,they got stucked.

actually tony, i absolutely loved no substance and New America. I even like new america better than generator( dont ask why,thats just the way it is).

 

Nevertheless, STF is still their best record so far

You seem to like all the albums without Mr. Brett. And he's my favorite part of the band (for music and songwriting). So that's where the difference lies. I still respect you for liking a great band though.

for me, bad religion´s the process of belief. I heard it a lot saying to my self " come on, you love bad religion....you have to like this album!!!"...but no, it sucked, and the empire strikes first also sucked. Maybe its not that the albums sucked, maybe its just that i have grown apart and matured...but i still enjoy their other albums,so it must be that their las t two albums sucked.

 

I used to be a huge fan when i was 18, now i enjoy listening to them every 5 or 6 months....but for me,they should have broken up a long time ago.
