Its funny. Ages ago my comic shop dealer and I were talking about a Batman movie, he used to be a projectionist and he'd done American Psycho. He said Bale was a dead on Bruce Wayne.

I said "Yeah? I don't see it."

"You go watch that movie" he said. I went and watched it and sure enough, I agreed with him.

"It'll never happen though." I recall saying. :rolleyes:

Later last year I walked into the shop after reading the news on Superhero Hype.

"Isn't it great?" he said.

"Sure is" I replied. The other people in the shop had no idea what we were talking about.

I work there now.

That'd be Goran Parlov. Never seen him do anything else. They are pretty similar though, I didn't notice the difference until I saw his name in the title credit thing.

I'm a little late to this, and I agree with Alex Maleev. I've wanted to see him do Hellblazer since I first saw his stuff in Daredevil.

Also, I think Pia Guerra from Y: The Last Man would be cool to see on the book.

Oh yeah, I saw that JLU episode a few weeks back. That bit with Batman falling out of the plane was great.

I thought Iron Man was good too.

Thanks a lot guys, due to conflicting schedules with a few of my other friends, my 21st is actually on the 2nd. I'll knock up some pictures later on if possible.

This is all very well and good. But this thing isn't going ahead until we get a decent script.

I have bought a trade in years. I'd only get them in finite series like Preacher or Transmet, or to get back issues I can't get a hold of. But now that there's the internet, I don't really need to get trades for that reason. I'll probably get 100 Bullets in trades eventually, and the rest of Rising Stars. Trades are good, but single issues work better how they leave you wanting more.

I am also enjoying this series, I think this is the nicest I've seen Quitely's art in a long time, especially that bullet splash page in issue one. But I refer to them as the cat, dog and bunny.
