Atari Force was a DC property. As much as we were hoping that Shooter would cancel Atari Force, he simply didn’t have the power.
Charlie K and I were huge Atari Force fans lmao

Wonder what Mike Carey's up to these days -
I just re-read his entire run. It is quality stuff.

How did I not see this. Yes, we had about as good a Christmas as one can despite seeing like, 0 family. Son had a great day and that's all that matters.

Is there medication for that?

Just when I think we could not get any lower. Donald Trump needs to be held accountable for this.

You're not wrong, Lou. Great stuff. I was astonished to find a comic this good is a revival of a bad rip off of OMAC Rob Liefeld "created" during the '90s, though...
Right? I had no idea what the original was about, it looked awful! I am not sure how or why I started getting this title but I am sure glad I did. It reads like a fever dream sometimes

The Master. When I was young, my step-dad had two big binders full of heavy metal mags from the 70s. It was there that I started reading Den and getting familiar with Corben's other work. He always has and always will be a favorite of mine.
His work on Hellblazer just didn't suit the story but his Hellboy stuff is fantastic.
RIP

I’m temporally displaced so I have no idea.

One of my favorite apects of this film is that the narrator is unreliable. Therefor, one can guess that some, if not most or all of the film, never even happened.
Sometimes I like to feel like the only part of that movie that really did occur was the part at the end:
Arkham Psychiatrist: What's so funny?
Arthur Fleck: I'm just thinking of a joke.
Arkham Psychiatrist: Do you want to tell it to me?
Arthur Fleck: You wouldn't get it.
Even the bit of him running with bloody shoes likely did not happen (imo). But, I believe that was the director's intent (I am no film student).

maybe he'll shoot himself in the head on national TV

Furthermore I like [/sarcasm] how people like to play whatever card suits them.
Trump wins election in 2016:
Left: FRAUD! HE STOLE THE ELECTION! RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE! THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE SHOULD BE ABOLISHED!
Right: He is your president. This happened fair and square. Deal with it.
Trump loses election in 2020:
Right: FRAUD! HE STOLE THE ELECTION! LEFTIST INTERFERENCE! THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE SHOULD BE ABOLISHED!
Left: He is your president. This happened fair and square. Deal with it.
The you wonder why people are rioting in the streets. Fuck the lot of them.

Can any Americans (which I guess means Christian & Lou these days?) tell me something?
I do believe that votes have been cast in the name of dead people; I've seen reasonable evidence for two such votes. But in your electoral system, can we actually know who they voted for?
I've no clue. For the record I have never once had faith in our election process or it's results. I can't imagine what you would have to do to prove or disprove any of it.
"the stick or the knife, one of them is going up your ass. you choose"
THAT is voting in America

Ah, but wait until you get to the first appearance of Tyrant. There are few things that scream 1990s comics more than Marz’ design for Tyrant.
LMFAO I have no idea what y'all are talking about so I had to do a google image search so 'holy fuck' is pretty much all I can add to this discussion, fucking tyrant wow

My home state is a key battle and it looks like Biden is breaking ahead by a very slim margin

I was like 'eh, i dunno' but then 'Joined by a friendly demon named Etrigan...' drew my interest

If there is one thing I like almost as much as a heavy metal autobiography it is true crime. I am reading Donnie Brasco right now, and enjoying it

Sure am loving this post. Just finished Carey's run and started Mina's myself. 215 issues was a good run haha.
I'll never forget when that issue came out I logged into the DC message boards the next day and there was a post called "Sweet muck of his balls ...wtf" and it was many pages long already. Hilarity ensued.
