If there is one thing I like almost as much as a heavy metal autobiography it is true crime. I am reading Donnie Brasco right now, and enjoying it

Looking damn fine, man.

Are you enjoying Moonshine, Lou ? I bounced off the first trade, looked lovely but Azzarello's writing just isn't for me.
I am but I am several issues behind. I think if anyone other than Risso were drawing it then I may not bite. It’s classic Azz being Azz, with the clever word play on full display.

There is also a Lono mini.
Have you checked out Moonshine?

Rob Halford: Confess
I am not a voracious reader but I simply could not put this one down and finished it in a few days. It also may help to be a big Judas Priest fan.
There is a very stark contrast between the man whose dreams had come true; to be the lead singer in one of the largest and most popular heavy metal bands on the planet, and the man isolated by suffocating solitude. Dude had the whole world in the palm of his hand. Yet being a gay man in a macho dominated and intolerant 70s and 80s, he was also incredibly lonely which led to sordid truck stop and military base affairs, alcoholism, drug abuse and ultimately rehabilitation.
Rob loved Priest with all his heart, and would never do anything to jeopardize the band (aside from "quitting" lmao), and so he remained firmly in the closet and extremely frustrated. Getting sober and coming out was such a great revelation for him.
It was also fun to watch the band skyrocket from Rob's perspective. Yes, they worked hard and paid a lot of dues, but they also had a few really good breaks go their way.
I give it 5 out of 5 dongs

I’m sorry man. It’s a hard thing to deal with.

I also like how Trumptards are quick to say just the most abominable things, then when anyone objects, they say "Oh get a safe place you snowflake." but these same people are quick to say "Show a little repsect!" to people making fun of the President's ailment. The hypocrisy is blinding.

And the WORST bit of news about the USA lately was the guy in charge of the POST OFFICE ! ! ! ! ! destroying the post offices' capacity to do its job.
I am really not sure how people can just let this stand. Mail in voting? I'LL JUST GUT THE POST OFFICE! It is so blatant, yet slightly less than half this country buys into this shit.

Bet he’s loving that free health care !!

I am sorry to hear that, CC

I have my ticket for the conspiracy train. He will "beat" it to rile up his base, affirm that his handling of the pandemic was the appropriate course of action, and narrow the gap in the polls. There is nothing this twat will not do to get re-elected, so that he may stave off the impending legal action against him and buy him some time to pay back the hundreds of millions of dollars in debt that he owes to Russian ogliarcy, likely at the expense of the American tax payer, their kids, and their kid's kids. The American government has been bought.

I thought that was Gaz at first.

It makes the barbarian vomit with anger, literally. He can't even look at it lmao

Indeed he does .
Hundredth dream is better than I recalled. The age of magic is dwindling in the dawn of machine. Big fuck off barbarian heads back north and finds himself in a quest with two Noi (Asian type) warriors, one of which has a new machine that shoots death with a mysterious flammable black powder, a priest and what appears to be some type of northerner; the last fire mage. The quest is to use the fire mage's magic to vanquish a giant beast that has been plaguing his home lands.

Reading through Wolfskin now...big fuck off barbarian nomad rolling through the country hacking people up in Juan Jose Ryp ultra hi def hahahaha.
Onto the Hundredth Dream, which I recall being a bit of a chore.

I can't say I know anything about The Flash so maybe that was not the best example, but I am glad Bendis addressed it. Seems nobody ever does.
-
Agree with Dog on that. USM is great fun. I would also recommend finding the tie in Ultimate Marvel Team Up series, which had ASM mixing it up with various members of the MU. All of them are written by Bendis but feature rotating art chores.
One thing that's always stood out to me is that some of these heroes are 'science nerds' like Parker or The Flash. So how come all of a sudden you are great hand to hand combatants? I get it, you have super speed and spider sense and all that. But how do you even know how to make a fist without breaking your thumb? How do you know how to properly punch or kick? Yes, I have had at least one internet slap fight about this. UMTU does a fantastic job of addressing this when Spidey meets Shang Chi

Oh and then they want to be cute and half way through a run be like "ORIGINAL NUMBERING" so you go from Thor #17 to like Thor #703. That's nice.

Reading through Wildstorm's Battler Britton by Garf and Colin Wilson. Yet another great Garth Ennis war story. I suppose this might be a bit more fun if I had any prior knowledge of the character. Otherwise this can just be slated as one of many excellent Garth Ennis WWII stories.

I am really diggin' this show

And what would they do with said ashes?

Sorry to hear about your Mum, Tigger. But you seem to be handling it well. And I was going to ask, is it customary for in-laws to feel like they have a say in any proper family business overseas? Cause over here, you can pipe up to your spouse, but as John said, you don't get a seat at the table.

That view is gorgeous!
