Ok...I don't really know you guys enough to think of a good question, but I'll play. Truth. (note...I'm going to work soon, so I can't answer for about 11 hours or so. do not mistake my delay as cowardice).

I don't have time to listen to much music anymore, but the last thing I listened to was Babylon, by Skindred. They are a Metal Regge band. I'll say it again. Metal Regge.
Quoth the Skindred, "Nobody gets out of this ya pit alive/Nobody gets out alive!"
I've also listened to some R.E.M., Jude, Robyn Hitchcock, Radiohead, and Talking Heads.
My wife plays nothing but Korn.

OMG! I bet that book is worth a lot of money. Oh, not because it is a historical document that reveals the state-sponsored mis-information campaign aimed at America's youth! NO! It's Marx's origin issue! Cool!

The Star Wars Trilogy box set
Trivial Pursuit: SNL edition
PS2-Karaoke Revolution 3 with extra mic (no, I'm serious!)
I'll edit in more as I think of things

Man in Cave: "Now, I shall grab his Fraggle Rocks!"

This is why it's called "Seduction of the Innocent".

Look...Lady Liberty is trying to burn the hammer and sickle! She's a monster!

It's OK, Clark. This is how we do things in Gotham.

I just got back from a Korn concert. Now before everyone jumps up my ass about that, let me say:
1)It's my wifes's favorite band
2)I really do like them, ok? Get off my ass.
3) They know how to put on a good live show.
anywho...here are the bands that played, and what I thought of them:
Instruction: Actually, I missed them. Got to the show late.
Skindred: They rocked live. A weird mix of regge and metal. I'm listening to their CD now. (I bought it at the show...this was the first I'd ever heard of them.)
Breaking Benjamin: I don't like these guys, but they're decent live. My wife has decided that she likes them. Yay.
Chevelle: Yawn.
Korn: See beginning of post.
There ya go.

I've met Dave Sim (Canadian misogynist)
I met him too! Got him to sign an issue of Cerebus (high society), and he drew a tree! Gerhard drew a brick, even though I don't think he had anything to do with the issue. I forget when Gerhard came in.

I remember it. He was proven to be a cokehead and a nasty bit of work, but innocent of rape if I remember rightly.
Cool, thanks. I always wondered what the deal was, but here in the U.S., news about strictly British celebs is hard to come by. Unless that sort of thing does it for you.

Yeah...I really liked the Azzarello stuff. The Constantine in "Freezes over" was pretty cool, and I loved the end of the first issue of "Hard Time". That will eventually be a classic J.C. moment.

This jay nova looks like an asshole. Check out his shitty "wall of fame".
http://www.jaynova.com/music/nova1.htm
Appearently, he thinks drummers have their own language. He also thinks we give a shit.
This jaynova digs "car audio", which is funny. My car is a 1982 Mercury Zephyr with the original shit stereo.

I fucking kid you not...googled jay nova and got this pic. That's the sinchronicity information highway!

Jaynova looks like David Duchovney.
My wife is obsessed with David Duchovney.
I told her she must have a thing for guys with big noses and little eyes.
In person, I hear that I look like David Arquette most of the time, but I've heard Duchovney too.

Craig Charles from Red Dwarf and Robot Wars lives near me. Ive seen him around, never spoken to him though.
Hey...speaking of Craig Charles...
I know that in the early 90's he was arrested for rape or something, but later aquitted. What was that about? What is the general public concensus of the aquittal?

Hey, I'm of Welsh ancestry, and look at my avatar pic...I'm freakin' hot!
(BTW, I'm also of English, Irish, German, Dutch, Polish, and Chzec ancestry.
You could practically fight an entire World War and never leave my genepool.)

Heh. I loved the "It's a pity about keith's tv set" bit. Prolly my favorite part.
Do you think Map will bite it? I don't figure Saul will give up, just like thatAnywho, great issue.

Lots of comic people, like Paul Jenkins, John Byrne, P. Craig Russell, Matt Wagner, Jill Thompson, etc. at comic book conventions.
I met Robyn Hitchcock once. He's awesome. I asked if I could shake his hand, and he just looked at his hand and said, "I guess." He acted like he had no idea why I would want to shake it.
(Speaking of handshakes, P. Craig Russell is great, but he shakes hands like a dead fish.)
I also met Pete Schrum, who was in the 1980's series "Gimmie a Break". He was also in Terminator 2 (he was the bartender who loses his shotgun to Arnie). I met him at Hands Across America, if any of you remember that shit. Pete was here because he was born in my hometown.
Oh, and the lovely Chloe Annett, from Red Dwarf. My god, you brits have some quality TV.

I'd be in the Wicca section, probably tossing books on th floor and saying "Fluff! Fluff! Fluff!"
I'm an eclectic Wiccan, but I do read a little on the Qaballa, Crowley, and Ceremonial Magic. Most Wiccan books that I've read are fluff.
In practice, though, I'm stricly low magic.

I'll be at my grandmother-in-law's house trying to drink her under the table. (Fat chance).

Mostly negative.
Positives-
looks like a semi-decent horrorish movie
um . . .
people might read more Hellblazer
Negatives
It's not John Constantine
It's not John Conatantine
It's not John Fucking Constantine!!!

I've said (in a different thread) that my first experience was in Sandman 3. However, I just remembered that I started Sandman late in the run, so by the time I read Sandman 3, Ennis was on HB. My first issue was the final issue of the 3 part Fear and Loathing arc (as apposed to all of the books in the F&L TP). You know, the issue with John tied to the chair, and the copy of mein kampf cloating in the air. My collection has grown since then, but I still have many gaps.

I don't see what difference the rating is going to make.
Any "adult" content would be anything but. All it would mean is T&A and a little bit of gore. The producers have more than proved that they haven't got the slightest grasp on the adult themes of the book.
Swearing aside, most of the things that I like about the book could probably be shoehorned into a PG-13 book.
Hell, they're making "His Dark Materials" into a film for kids and thats WAAAAAAY more subversive than Hellblazer ever has been.
When they take an r rated idea and make a PG-13 film, if usually feels... restrained? Incomplete? Off?
Not that the movie would feel right anywho.
