Oh and I asked my girlfriend to marry me using my grandmother's ring. She said yes.
Congrats! How long have youins been together.
(he he he...youins.)

[Hi ma, he is a nice boy, and usually quite polite, he also promised you a footie team of grandkids, so lighten up a little, eh?.]
Great. You realize she's going to read all of my posts until she realizes I never said anything about grandkids, right?

What did you get for Christmas/Chanukkah/Kwanzaa/Yule/Voodo Jimmy Day?
(I know it's early for most, but some presents are sure to be funneling through...unless you've been naughty. I guess this is the wrong place to ask, then, eh?)
So far . . .
Surround Sound System from Mrs. Nova
Tha Adventures of Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth from my friend Jayson
Also:
From my Wife: Shaun of the Dead DVD, Poker Chip set, A really nice bracelet, A Pulp Fiction T Shirt,
From my Grandparents: Money! Also, a pair of sleeping pants and a hammer for breaking out of a car (though the self defense applications are nearly endless, I'm sure!)
From my Parents: Money!! Also a set of Spiderman dinner plates,
From my Boss: A $10 gift card to Applebee's (a restaurant).
From my friend CJ: A $25 gift card to Gamestop.
From my work: A copy of Elf on DVD
From my Niece: A tape measure key chain
I'm sure I'm forgetting something, which my mother will remind me about because she knows I post here. She's been reading my posts, forcing me to erase all the ones about my heavy drug use, anonymous sex with old men, and satanic worship. :icon_evil:

What knocked your power out?
It rained, then froze so fast it weighed down the trees. Lots of downed trees here. Thousands lost power. It was pretty fucked up.
-
Hey all,
My power's been out for three days, but it's back!
Message ends.

I once wrote a Psychoanalytic Criticism paper on the young Ms. Palumbo. I think I got an "A". Of course, it was all bullshit.

Why can't we see the books?
They are EMBARRASING!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously...during the first book, Chris wanted to change some things (partially because I was taking too long ot write it), and I was angry. During the second book, there were some mistakes due to my bad handwriting on the script. Chris wanted to fix these errors, but I threw a fit. This led to lines such as "she is holded in the castle." (the line was supposed to be "she is holed up in the castle", but I was using the phrase wrong, anyway; I was 15).
We sold the book to local comic book stores, and were guest artists/writers at some of the local comic cons.
I always felt like I could relate to Doogie Howser; When he's a doctor at 15, he's a prodigy. A doctor at 27 is just a doctor.

I'm eager to show my stupidity. which one is the politician?
Oh...the heavy-set one holding court. The man in the Right Foreground is paying the other man to assasinate the politician.

Gourgous painting Jaynova...if you posed for it who is the artist?
My oldest friend, Chris Seaman. Here is is profile:
In addition to the works mentioned on his page, he illustrated Harry Shag, as well as Sorcerer's Chamber: The Books Of Heteron. Both of these books were writen by me when I was 14 or 15, and each lasted only one issue. No, you may not see them :p

I'm the guy standing alone to the left, behind the politician. My Friend Pat is the politician, Tom is the bearded man, Alan is the guy in the right forground, and my friend Jayson is the left forground.
This was painted by my oldest friend Chris Seaman, for the card game Warlords, I think.

"It's based on a comic book but I don't want it to feel like a comic book movie"
I hate when people say shit like this. When I tell people "From Hell" of "Road to Perdition", or even "Ghost World" were based on Comics, they always say "It didn't feel like a comic book movie". To which I respond, "That's because you don't know much about comic books."

Hmmm, I've never been impressed with the Foremen Grill but most of the veggie stuff I eat needs to be cooked from frozen and it's no good for that.
I did a pannini in it the other day and it was fine though.
Are you a vergitarian?

Of course, Lucifer didn't fall to Earth,
Yes I did...er...um...I mean, yes, you are correct. *cough*

AHHHHHHHHHH.....Alicia Witt. I used to watch Cybil just to see her.

Jay, I bet your wife's lovely, isn't she? She looks like she would be. You look like a very sweet couple. How long've you been married?
Shit! Just seen Rogan's post. She does, doesn't she?
We've been married for2 and 1/2 years, but we've been together since May 1994 (our sophmore year in High School.)

This is me and the missus. The missus is the pretty one with the scarf.

I just saw Shaun of the Dead. Fuckin' great! A comedy that is still a true zombie movie. I'm buying this one.

speaking of Jim Carrey/Jimmy Stewart, anyone seen that sketch where he plays mr. Stewart, and someone else (a regular from the SNL crew?) plays Jim Carrey?
Yeah...I think Mark McKinney played Jim Carey. It was an episode of The Joe Peschi Show. Great stuff.

. . . still burns the fuck out of your mouth, no matter what the commercials would have you believe.

I just read the 1st 2 issues of the color (or is it colour) series. I like it, but it feels like Grist has Attention Deficit Disorder. Seriously, I read issue 2 twice, and it feels like the pages are out of order. Maybe I'm just tired.
