I've only been reading Mighty Avengers from Marvel and it's been such a fun ride. Ewing does a fantastic job with all the characters. They each pop and work well together as an ensemble cast. I love the rotating nature of who gets a spotlight and everyone gets a good showing in some way or fashion. It's just a good ol' fun time and I never regret reading and spending my money on it.
I'm still crossing my fingers for him to find some way to bring Brother/Dr. Voodoo into the mix. It seems Ewing likes his team already with an established history. Voodoo has history due to dating Monica Rambeau and working with Luke Cage and Blade a few times.

Man, I found The Normal Heart more difficult, disturbing, and scarier to watch than all the horror films and shows I've seen in years.
Very well made movie that hits the emotional core. Great performances all around, including Taylor Kitsch who I always found to be a bit of a boring actor. Loved Julia Roberts throughout. Ryan Murphy's directing style just worked so well in setting up the mood and keeping it at a nice pace. I can see this sweeping awards come awards season.

Lou K has to take a selfie after saving the world from an alien invasion. The cellphone is the new version of the memory eraser.

So when can we expect to see you on the cover of Men's Health then?
HA! I wish! We'll see bout that.
I did a shoot this past Sunday which may be in a magazine. I'll keep ya'll posted. I did a shoot months back which still may or may not show up in a mag also.

I'm with you there, Greg. It's like, we're almost there, but something is missing.
Heh. To think I first came here due to the movie and was one of the only ones praising the film, lol.

Not sure how I'm feeling bout this. I'm excited to see he looks and acts closer to the John I fell in love with in the books. But something isn't clicking right to me. It looks a bit too glossy and action packy.

I LOVE IT!

LOL I probably should not view that at work. People might get the wrong (or right, I can't tell right now) idea.
In any case, man, you are ripped. Oh youth. Where did you go?
I took it from you.
I'd fight you for it but I am too damn tired right now and my back hurts.
In that case, looks like I'm staying on your lawn!

I wouldn't mind waking up next to that!
But what if I was gnawing on your brain?
Over where I'm from, "getting brain" is a good thing.
Don't make the old man do a google search.
Here. I'll help you, haha!

Thanks, guys! I think it just might be a lampshade. I really don't know to be honest, haha! I know the photographer made it, put stuff together.

I saw it the first Friday it was out with the bf and we had a lot of fun watching it. I definitely felt it was one of the best of the Marvel films, though I still prefer Captain America 2. The film was just a good old time though still felt it was missing a little something that I can't put my finger on till this day. But as a whole, highly recommended. I loved the whole cast and the group had such a fantastic dynamic together, emotionally and comedic. The audience had a ball cracking up when Drax spoke. Was not expecting him to be as funny as he ended up being.
