Been taking Guitar lessons for the past few months, and slowly trying to weed myself off the Internet due to how addicting it and Youtube can be. Plus my realization that I don't give a shit about anybody on Youtube anymore. (Primarily due to how a good 99% of them all act like narcissists , and don't really do much with their content besides act fake and show videos of themselves grocery shopping.) 

Grant Morrison's Animal Man run.  So I'm enjoying it, I'm almost done with it and really enjoying how he basically took the idea of him being a super hero and slowly introduced new takes on the concept. Specially the hints of things that he laid down in the first trade being explained better in the latter trades. 

If I get some more cash, I'll probably check out his Doom Patrol stuff too. 

Been playing Batman: Tell Tale and slowly finishing up BotW. Waiting for Shadow of War next month.

Just don't do anything for her anymore. It's a pretty simple solution.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that I'm more interested in how she handles the role AFTER she settles into it. It's one thing to be The Doctor in an episode or two, but so see how they handle the character after the dust settles. That's what matters most.

Side note: Both the SJW's and the people against it, can go lick a public toilet seat.

Playing Breath of the Wild and waiting for Shadow of War to come out. Also, in other news it turns out that Friday the 13th game is kind of shite. From what everybody is saying is that it CAN be fun when you have the right group of players, and the game doesn't disconnect you or get riddled with bugs. But, that's a long shot. Also, a lot are saying it's not worth the $40 they're charging for it.

One of the kids found a picture online of a dissected penis today, but I dont think he realised what he was looking at, so I steered him away from it quite smoothly.

 

Yup, I'm back doing what I do best.

Cats are the most bipolar arseholish pet that I can think of. I had two when I was younger and they were great about 10% of the time and the rest they were dicks. Specially to each other and sometimes to the dog who nothing but nice to them.

Well that's just depressing, Dishonored 2 seems to have a ton of issues on both the console and PC. I think I'll wait till it goes down on price on steam, the same for DR 4.

At one point I was hoping a 3rd party would win just because it would throw a wrench into everybody's plans. But none of the 3rd party candidates got much traction and barely did much marketing.

While, everybody is worrying about the purge happening. I'm just going to say that The Purge is great for the economy, helps creates jobs. It just works. Release the beast.

I do wonder how the first year will go down and I'm thinking he's not going to be as terrible as people think, he's not going to be good either. I'd say slightly average at best. 5/10.

Look on the bright side, if Trump starts ruining relations with other countries. He could likely get impeached or forced to resign before his term ends by congress.

It pretty much boils down to disillusionment and people not living either candidate and voting Trump in as a big "Fuck You!" to the system. I actually was hoping that Bernie was going to win, also this boils down to people getting tired of being called racists and bigots just because you might support one or two things a candidate says.

I'm going to wait and see what actually happens before raging at people for no reason at all.

People also seem to forget that worste people than Trump have been president, and this country still made it out ok.

LBJ and the Vietnam war, Ulysses Grant, Reagan, etc. Yet the country still did ok. Hell during Clintons term he came when the economy was booming and got caught in that scandal. The other thing to think about is that we don't know who his cabinet members are yet, they are the ones who whisper in his ear and help guide the president when in comes to making decisions.

We'll be fine. Here is what's going to happen. Trump will get a ego boost, but won't make any real decisions because Pence will do all the work, a lot of Trumps plans will be downvoted by the people and congress. Trump will either resign within a year or so, one end being very miserable. Other countries will take the piss out of America for it, and then end up moving on and forgetting about it.

Watched Black Mirror last night. San Junipero wasn't as much of a gut punch of the other episodes.

Looking forward to replaying Skyrim and checking out Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2 next month.

On another note; The Nintendo NX was renamed The Nintendo Switch

Wasn't that pretty much the whole thrust of the film?

I thought the main thing about Westworld was just about the robots malfunctioning and killing everybody? It's been awhile sense I've seen it, but I don't remember them going as far as the HBO series to constantly try to hammer on how the people that go there are deplorable.

I didn't see any topics or mention of this. So far the pilot was very good and also pretty visceral. I did like how they are slowly taking in a different direction than the movie. While the movie was mainly about The Guests, the TV series is going to be about The Hosts and how they start to become self aware.

Which is going to cause a lot of shit to hit the fan, because in Westworld a lot of the hosts are pretty much abused to hell and back. Though, I am hoping the series won't keep hammering on about how the Hosts are more human than the guests, and how the guests are pretty much deplorable wastes of human flesh.

And some of the stuff in Preacher IS enormously offensive, intentionally so. You don't have to be a zealot to be offended by the idea of the offspring of Christ being inbred lunatics. And there's nothing wrong with being offended by that, it's just how you deal with and express that.

Well of course they'd be inbred lunatics, anybody that in breeds for that many years is going to have a pretty fucked up gene pool.

I still need to finish the series though. I find the TV series interesting, but at times I find the story kind of lacking and the characters not that interesting.

Stranger Things was really good. They had a lot of elements from different genres in it going on.

The kids were in a coming of age movie. The teenagers in a monster movie. The mom in a psychological thriller. The sheriff in a conspiracy movie. The girl in a science fiction movie.

It's been ok but not what I expected and the random flashbacks can be annoying and confusing at times.
