When I was a kid I met Tom Baker signing Dr Who books at my local Woolco (owned by Woolworths) and asked him how he was. He patted me on the shoulder and said I was the first person who hadnt bothered him with an observation about some obscure piece of Who history. He then spent the next ten minutes ranting about the fans, my mum quickly dragged me home. Only now can I see what he was talking about.

Its grim oop North.

Has anyone played the Dalek game on the BBC website. Theres something quite satisfying about trundling around exterminating.

Saw a preview last night, it looks quite amusing even if like me you dont watch much soaps (saw an episode of Eastenders this week, god what shite. The Sylvia Young school should be bombed for churning out crap actors over the years).

Fucking hell the Pixies and the Gore Gore Girls are on there. You're in good company then.

An ex girl friend from Norway put me off the place long ago but your correspondance wil hopefully restore my faith, good luck on your next adventure Mark.

Shit! I hoped we'd get twice that many. I had sort of used 35-40 as a figure for quotes. That's only 22 so far. Come on, girls and boys. Let's at least get 30. Actually, I know a few people locally who might dig some. There might be a minimum order, too. I will check into that. Still haven't been able to rekey the song titles. I was handed this massive job of revamping my company's website by Monday--an Herculean task that in protest, I will be enlisting the voice of our network admin with the intention of extending the deadline. Otherwise, it's nothing but html, java and Photoshop until Monday morning for this tired oul' git!
I'm sure between us we can achieve the minimum order, we've probably all got friends who will appreciate a special item like this.

If we're looking at weird differences between the nations why do Americans have fraternities at their universities. What are they? What do they do? Do you have to join one?

1B looks more dynamic and I agree with Mark on 2B

That sounds fabulous, Sickboyfilms. I love all sorts of fish, and that sounds particularly tasty...any chance you could stick up the recipe?
Heres a link to a basic recipe, I dont think there is a definative version so you can chop and change it as you please (marinade in lime and onions serve with coriander and chopped tomatoes for me).
Funny, I'm having peppers with feta also.

I love curry, especially the more tomato based ones, the lime pickle makes it even more special.
I've had to buy a recipe book because it's getting harder to order a decent curry in Southampton.
I was shown how to cook my favourite meal "Ika Mata" by my Cook Island auntie last time I was there. It's fish (fresh tuna or white fish) left to chemically cook in lemon or lime juice for a while then mixed with coconut cream and vegetables if you want (I stick in coriander too which isn't South Pacific but I like it).
I'm starving now

(OK allowing for the US to UK difference then considering that I've never bought 2 medium t-shirts that were actually the same size)
Medium please

Has anyone got the Stan Lee doing DC characters book yet? If not I wouldnt mind it. You sure you dont want some postal money?
Christian I thought Thrillkiller was brilliant so you're in for a treat.

"The theme from Star Wars", brilliant.

They posted it on your TARDIS Doctor.

I quite like Raynors art from Hellblazer (nostalgia value, I was at art college at the time) , I'd have a bid if I hadnt spent all my money on bad crack.
I've got a few pages of Sean Phillips and Ridgeways HB stuff, wish I had more.

Haha, I thought it looked like an argument. That one of you int he suit, wasa that an avatar you had or something, but all painted like? it just looks TOO familiar...
Yeah it's been around a bit.
-
Yeah I wanted to get the cops in while they were having an argument with some guy, there was one police man (not in the photo) who had a personal armoury on him, so much weaponary.
Maybe something to do with 9/11 the previous year.
-
I don't know what you mean!
If avatars were songs you would have an impressive back catalogue compared to my one CD album.
-
I like that one as well. Didn't you used to have it as your avatar?
Yes but as you will agree constant change staves off boredom

I think I posted this one in the old forum.
