  1. When I was a kid I met Tom Baker signing Dr Who books at my local Woolco (owned by Woolworths) and asked him how he was. He patted me on the shoulder and said I was the first person who hadnt bothered him with an observation about some obscure piece of Who history. He then spent the next ten minutes ranting about the fans, my mum quickly dragged me home. Only now can I see what he was talking about.

  2. Shit! I hoped we'd get twice that many. I had sort of used 35-40 as a figure for quotes. That's only 22 so far. Come on, girls and boys. Let's at least get 30. Actually, I know a few people locally who might dig some. There might be a minimum order, too. I will check into that. Still haven't been able to rekey the song titles. I was handed this massive job of revamping my company's website by Monday--an Herculean task that in protest, I will be enlisting the voice of our network admin with the intention of extending the deadline. Otherwise, it's nothing but html, java and Photoshop until Monday morning for this tired oul' git!

I'm sure between us we can achieve the minimum order, we've probably all got friends who will appreciate a special item like this.

  3. That sounds fabulous, Sickboyfilms. I love all sorts of fish, and that sounds particularly tasty...any chance you could stick up the recipe?

Heres a link to a basic recipe, I dont think there is a definative version so you can chop and change it as you please (marinade in lime and onions serve with coriander and chopped tomatoes for me).

Funny, I'm having peppers with feta also.

  4. I love curry, especially the more tomato based ones, the lime pickle makes it even more special.

I've had to buy a recipe book because it's getting harder to order a decent curry in Southampton.

I was shown how to cook my favourite meal "Ika Mata" by my Cook Island auntie last time I was there. It's fish (fresh tuna or white fish) left to chemically cook in lemon or lime juice for a while then mixed with coconut cream and vegetables if you want (I stick in coriander too which isn't South Pacific but I like it).

    I'm starving now
