I doubt that game would have played out much differently if both sides had played 1st choices.
No one complains when the Man Citys and the Chelseas play under-strength sides during a season.
And hardly anyone points out that technically right now Belgium are top of the FIFA men's rankings

Having enjoyed Matt Kindt's work for many years imagine my surprise that is missed a new book from him.
Someone on the This Week list mentioned Ether. What a charming book. Like Castle Waiting meets Adam Strange in The Okefenokee Swamp.

I think I am down to Eternity Girl but I might be up to date with Shade the Changing Girl too. The way I buy the comics is disjointed at the moment.
But the latest EG is great fun.

The latest if these is The Magic Order by Mark Millar and Olivier Coipel.
And I like it.
Take Zatara/Zatana & siblings. Add global conspiracy of magic that has rarely worked in Hellblazer and never in JL:Dark. Smother it with lashings of gorgeous artwork. Oh yeah and no "For mature readers" £#$%words.

Excellent work on the VAR last night.
