  1. I did not enjoy Until Dawn. Found the characters dull.

Until Dawn is brilliant from a production/technical standpoint but I did not care for the story and did not like the characters aside from Josh and the wolf.

  2. Yeah. Why Scotland, Hus? And for how long?

To be honest it was the spur of the moment thing. I'd previously planned to take November off but work said I can only take October off, so I didn't have much time to plan, and needing to put the paperwork in, I picked Scotland on a whim.

    I'm planning on 2 1/2 weeks, maybe 3.

I've been looking at hostels around Edinbrugh. Where the lesser violent Scots at?

  3. Both work. Atrophy's more wasting away from neglect, and entropy's a term from thermodynamics, beloved of science fiction writers. What's your context, Kate? There could be a more apt term than either...

No context as suck. Just curious.

As I understand it, entropy might describe order inevitably braking down. I was looking for a word describing the inevitability of all things inevitably doing the same, breaking down, dying, fading away, disappearing, in spite of attempts to prolong their life.

  4. Zack Snyder is a lost cause, I'm sorry to say. I liked his Superman well enough, but his propensity for over the top messianic imagery irks me, and, you know, all the wind and length.

I hope it does well but I'm looking much, much more forward to Suicide Squad.

  5. Batman: Arkham Knight is a thing of beauty. I have seen tank battles, I have seen as good a fight scene as can be had with Batman via the new fear teakdowns, and I have seen one of the best tripped out scenes in video games, and I'm evidently only 11% in. Arkham Knight is love. I can't say for sure, but it seems like it might just strike the balance between world scale and story content that tends to be illusive.
