I haven't read any new HB since Milligan's 'Scab' story. Am I missing anything?

I read the first Scalped trade. Good shit. I grew up close to a reservation, and that comic has the rez flavor pretty much dead-on.

SCud is excellent. Shrab's follow-up La Cosa Nostroid, not so much.

I've been working the summer fair/rodeo/roundup circuit in Washington and Oregon for the second year in a row. I make evil deadly things like elephant ears, funnel cakes, bloomed onions and such. I like being in a different town every week.

My kids have just started developing an obsession with superheroes. I'm so proud.

My daughter and I were watching a buttload of 'Batman: Brave and the Bold' episodes on TV the other day. I asked her who her favorite was and she said "The Plastic Man, daddy."

I almost cried.

I still love ...And Justice for All. I agree with on 'flat'-sounding production, but if you turn it up as loud as you are supposed to, it sounds amazing. No amount of volume can save shitty metal, but it helps with shitty production (sometimes).

In lighter fare, I watched Superman Returns for the first time since the cinema. I decided that I really do like it. It's camp without being cheesy, and grandiose without being (too) pretentious.

Went to the doc this evening and they lavaged out an inhumanly large chunk of wax that was sitting on the ear drum. I now feel much better.

A friend of mine hatched a plot to go back in time and kill whoever invented them.

I was at a party and some FUCKING DOUCHE-BAG was talking about how he got 99% or whatever on a certain song and I told "one time I was playing that on a real guitar and got 213%."

And I did with Constantine.

Oh that movie managed to be horrible and disturbing in its own special way.
