You'd expect the books produced to be more expensive but according to Blackwell's who have one of the Espresso Book Machines.
'Book prices on the EBM will be the same as those currently instore' whatever that means.
http://bookshop.blackwell.co.uk/jsp/editorial/browse/espresso.jsp
There's a video of the machine in action there too.

Yeah, now this takes my fancy.
-
It doesn't seem to be that controversial from my reading of it and it doesn't seem to be linked to the Alternet article you linked to.
-
A hearty congratulations Jessie, that's awesome news.

Who made Internet, hard disks, external memories, search engines and LCD screens?
Engineers.

Went to try out a newly refurbished pub with my girlfriend yesterday and asked her to get me a Grolsch but she came back with a pint of Kirin Ichiban which she'd been told by the barmaid would taste about the same. It was similar tasting and I have to say it was perhaps even better.

Yeah if your analysis is that Massachusetts sucks then how badly do most of the other states than rank worse it suck?

Thanks for the good wishes guys.

I've applied for a job as an IT Security Analyst with Dyson which I'm really hoping I will get because it is exactly the sort of job I wish to have and Dyson is a very cool company to work for from the reports I've heard.
I had a dream a couple of nights ago that involved Steve aka Mickey Eye introducing me to James Dyson. Steve knew him because he'd won a number of years ago an engineering contest that Dyson runs to encourage British students to pursue a career as engineers.
So Steve if my dream is in anyway true to life you wouldn't mind putting a good word in for me with Dyson would you.

What pollution? I'm not denying that there is probably tons of pollution being spewed into our coastal waters but how can you see it on the photo?

Congratulations Dave! Both on the championship win and your drunkeness.
hurrrrrrray!

He did yeah. I might have to locate that episode again on my hard drive.
To keep you entertained in the meantime

"Wonderful Christmastime" by Henchmen 21 & 24 is particularly poignant.

Cool. The company I work for is being bought by Cisco right now. Jobs page can be located here in case that helps.
Thanks Steve, I saw the news that Cisco was buying Tandberg.
I had decided to just get the CCNA so that I had something to prove that I knew what I was talking about in my job applications because 6 years experience of being the IT administrator and manager at a cinema wasn't really cutting it, but in doing so I've ended up appreciating Cisco as a company and the idea of working for them appeals to me a great deal.
-
It has been over a week but I thought I might as well post the news that I passed my CCNA exam so now I have a piece of paper to certify that I know about Cisco networking to go along with my years of IT experience and hopefully the new year will see me get a job.

It does make a lot of sense that The Doctor is Santa
-
That was really cool Greg. Creepy and funny in equal measure and really well shot too I thought. Can't wait to see it the final cut with sound.
-
It also makes for an interesting future confrontation with The Master who The Doctor is becoming more like with his arrogance and rejection of the Laws of Time.
He seems to be going down the path of becoming an Enlightened Despot with the power to bend time and space to his will, the rules don't matter to him but he believes he's doing it for the benefit of the Universe.
-
The thought did occur to me immediately at the point when he had rescued them, "I wonder in which time period he'll dump them" but taking them to Earth on the same day made sense to me in the story. Also there's a little part of me that is relishing his imminent departure, he's going to get what he deserves.
-
I couldn't agree more Mark, it has become really weak sauce. They seem to be just rehashing the same old jokes, this might work for some of their audience but I'm tired of it.
-
errr his studies?
-
The thing is though that he's not a complete failure as he really does seemed to have whipped the other henchmen into shape. I like the new badass 21 with his flaws and talking to the skull of 24 madness.
-
Good luck with your interviews Avaunt, that's just really shit behaviour of your former boss.
Congrats Mickey Eye, I almost offered you my commiserations as when I read what you wrote it somehow twisted in my head to mean the complete opposite and that after 8 years together you were breaking up. But yeah congratulations on the engagement.

Yeah glad to hear that you're alright Alseid.
Reports say a tsunami is likely to be hitting New Zealand sometime in the next few hours and I hope our Kiwi members are well away from the East coast.
