Heh!i do not know why, but i envision here saying something along the lines: "...like there was this big guy, like really big and he was just like uh... i can't even..."
Suprisingly, this may be the only Berlanti-DCU outfit reveal that pleases me. The one for Arsenal is almost close and The Flash cowl was spot on (before we had the misfortune of seeing the rest of it

Well, then... How 'bout that first look?

Ha! Did not realize she was in Dynasty. Of all the things to remember her by...
IKR! I only recall the said film, Melrose Place, Spin City, and the rest but not Dynasty

Since we're all sniffing Keanu brand crazy glue...
Return of the Swamp Thing is a superior movie to its 1982 forebearer.

What a really weird fit for the part. He's an OK actor, but seems too...cheery, and not at all arrogant. My dream-Lucifer is a young Charles Dance.
Having realized he was in For Your Eyes Only, I must agree.

BOOOO, KEANU! YAY, MATT!

Hey, it can't be much worse than Gotham
But might be worse than a certain film that turned 10 years old this month and League of Extraordinary Gentleman

I found this quote from Trank very telling.
"As for Johnny's sister Sue (Kate Mara), she'll be more than just a pretty face. "There have always been two categories of Sue - the slutty secretary version, and this brilliant scientist version. This is a really, really smart Sue, and one that is dignified and has integrity."
I haven't read FF in a long time, but I'm not sure slutty secretary is a Sue Storm trope i recognize.
Not to mention damning. Susan Storm-Richards was not conceived as "the slutty secretary" in 1961 and she damn well never be.

Plus they released Birds of Prey on DVD more than five years after that got cancelled.Seems counter productive not to release it. They know the show is at least at cult status, and look at what DVD releases did for Firefly and Family Guy.

Hey, tonights episode was really good.[ Spoiler : I loved that we got Aaron and Eric directly from the comic exactly how they were portrayed in the comic. But I wonder how many redneck walking dead fans freaked out when they kissed. This was a really good adaptation of the comicbook story, I think. With the 'we are trhe walking dead' speech last episode, it's kinda cool that they are choosing to do the Alexandria storyline from the comic. I'm interested to see what characters they use, if they use anymore. Jesus, Maybe? He's gay too. And will Neegan be that far off? A meaner governor with a townful of followers? ]
That plus Carl getting his eye shot. Though given the show's mojo, I wouldn't mind them giving that moment to Daryl just to see his fangirls go apeshit

There's a Warner Brothers / DC agenda to add to the NBC deliberations.
If foreign TV involvement saved Hannibal, it's very likely that other Megacorp will have something to say about the future of Constantine.
[bAs we all know, a cut in budget can only force them to make a show more in line with Hellblazer[/b].
And that really wouldn't be a bad thing

God damn it, Kapinos!

Whatever else happens in future, we can now say that we've seen a TV show in which John Constantine asks an angel to hold his cock for him while he has a piss under a bridge and then lights a cigarette and walks off into the rain, trench coat flapping in the wind. Which is nice.
yep. that scene was as much john constantine as it gets. and if that is the end, it is a somewhat fitting one. would youu rather have john take a piss and walk out, or have him in a bar with milligan?
That ending was ace. I kinda guessed that was where it was heading, but still really cool. [ Spoiler : However, I don't think Manny's actually a head honcho in Hell, but rather a more Gabriel-type. He probably still thinks he's doing good. To back this up: John's magic circle didn't hinder him in the episode with Imogen. ]
the real question is: what does he want with john? i mean he is not THE john constantine. as in: not the guy that can walk into a little bar like 'bewitched' and make everyone there piss their pants just by lighting a cigarette. not yet. still it seems an odd thing to do, putting john amidst your end game scheme.
Thank you, seventh for reminding me why I should give Milligan the Steranko

I assume Matt stole Papa's wallet because that coat looks like it costed a pretty penny.
There's a thought!
-
Coat is long
Yup and Cerone did say Matt wanted a longer coat and he got it. Seeing how great he looks in it made me wish they gave it to him sooner rather than later.
Plus it's much in line with tons of depictions of John in various trenchcoats (depending on the artist) as it is amusing to see the show go about this route sans the "there can be only one" gag Ennis and Nergal...erm... Milligan enforced

Black Tulip? I don't think there's any problem there. It's an odd thing to specify at script-level, but it doesn't mismatch with any parts of her character that I can think of. It might make Jesse's flirtation with Cindy in Salvation seem slightly odd, but my guess is that whole section won't be in this anyway.
Which is no different from Daryl taking up Tyresse's comic role as Rick's right hand man while the character became a meltoast pacifist that may as well sit in the kids table of poor characterizations w/ Lori, Andrea, Laurel Lance, and Barbara Kean. They basically pulled a Berlanti albeit merging her and Tulip as one thus either no need for Cindy to exist (and as you said that particular section) or they'll give her a different characterization to distinguish her from Tulip
-
I still can't believe how awful those script excerpts are. It's like live-action Poochie.
Preacher's might be neck in neck with it
-
he's a big fan of the comic, so I don't have a problem with it. a fan will do the comic justice, not just give lip service to being a fan like Francis Lawrence or Zach Snyder. or Joel Schumacher.
The lip service may still be intact now know certain changes to a certain female character going by Bleeding Cool reports
