  1.

I started reading The Black Arrow by Robert Louis Stevenson. I like it so far, though it's a little predictable (why does everyone think this young boy is a girl...?)

About 2/3 of the way through The Black Arrow. Also Reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and some H P Lovecraft Short stories, as well as re-reading The Rules of Attraction by Bret Easton Ellis.

OH! Just started reading a book about pirates, but I don't remember the title or editor.

  2. FUCKBEANS!!!!

Someone broke into my car last night (well, opened my car door, as my locks are broken) and stole my workout gear! All they got was an old backpack, my workout clothes (including my Gorillaz shirt), a $15 pair of shoes, my knee brace (my kneecap moves around without it), and a padlock. Easy to replace, except I'm on a tight budget because school's out. Looks like I have to stop working out for a while. :icon_cry: :icon_evil:

    All Spaniards beware:

Admiral Constantine of the HMS Blackadder shall give you no quarter!!!!!!

  6. Yeah, Incs. It's weird when a family member who one is not close with dies. Are you supposed to mourn? Should you just acknowledge it and move on? I figure, whatever reaction you have, just be true to that. No point in acting the way someone thinks you are "supposed" to.

  7. Fuck fuck fuckity-fuck fuck fuck!

    Morrowind--Morag Tong mission...

I got writs to kill both Odaisha Yaslmibaal and Toris Saren...I couldn't find Odaisha, but I went ahead and killed Toris and his whole fucking family, went to claim the kill and the Guildmaster won't acknowledge that the fucker is dead! I can't advance if I can't even claim my first (er...second...er third, actually, if you count the freelance poisoning I did for that goddess) kill! I hate glitchy games!

  8. hello to Jas! I havent had a lot of time writing nowadays

and i didnt want to share any kind of dark stuff for the holidays

so i'm just sharing the fun stuff....

Hey! Yeah, I haven't had much time to write, either. The Writing Center has been busybusybusy...

  9. Hate on This Is My Truth..., Know Your Enemy and Lifeblood all you like, Bili, but it'll be a cold day in hell before anyone'll convince me that The Holy Bible has anything remotely in common with feckin' Coldplay.

Not to mention that The Flaming Lips don't belong on that list either!

    I'm glad someone said it!

  10. While waiting for Angela's Ashes, I raced through John Le Carré's The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. It was pretty awesome. Le Carré's characters are incredibly well designed, and the ending, though I saw it coming, was pretty shocking anyways. The philosophy of the book was a good one, if a bit obvious. Though I do love the sensationalism of the James Bond books, this is a very nice counter-point to it.

Yes! I loved it, myself..I'm goint to read his first George Smiley novel soon...

BTW...got the message about Neuromancer...I'm going to look at my copy again and respond...I've been busybusybusy.
