Pointless. It objectifies women, and I'm not sure what was up with the pink stuff. And the one with the glasses was HOT. Giggity-giggity!

FUCKBEANS!!!!
Someone broke into my car last night (well, opened my car door, as my locks are broken) and stole my workout gear! All they got was an old backpack, my workout clothes (including my Gorillaz shirt), a $15 pair of shoes, my knee brace (my kneecap moves around without it), and a padlock. Easy to replace, except I'm on a tight budget because school's out. Looks like I have to stop working out for a while. :icon_cry: :icon_evil:

I started reading The Black Arrow by Robert Louis Stevenson. I like it so far, though it's a little predictable (why does everyone think this young boy is a girl...?)
About 2/3 of the way through The Black Arrow. Also Reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and some H P Lovecraft Short stories, as well as re-reading The Rules of Attraction by Bret Easton Ellis.

I also prefer the second BM...
I usually only go once a day.

Yeah, Incs. It's weird when a family member who one is not close with dies. Are you supposed to mourn? Should you just acknowledge it and move on? I figure, whatever reaction you have, just be true to that. No point in acting the way someone thinks you are "supposed" to.

His allusions are certainly not illusions as with Wilson. For example, "The rosy dawn turning golden".
Ug. That is bad. And, as you say, obvious.

Gen!!!
Hey! Sorry I haven't been around much to catch up. The Writing Center was too busy for me to use the time for a lot of posting, and I still have no connection at home.
I'll try to e-mail you soon to catch up, eh?

Oh! I finished The Executioner: War against the Mafia. It sucked. Don't bother. The Punisher is cooler.

Just found out that my boss is leaving us, which means there is a power vacuum in the WC. Looks like I have a cover letter to write. ;)
...
I hope you're constipated, Jay.
I was waiting for someone to say something like that!

I had a dream that I was watching a documentary about mental illness, and Christian was on as an expert (as a psychologist, that is.) Christian...you look older than I imagined....didn't realize your hairline was receding.

Morrowind--Morag Tong mission...
I got writs to kill both Odaisha Yaslmibaal and Toris Saren...I couldn't find Odaisha, but I went ahead and killed Toris and his whole fucking family, went to claim the kill and the Guildmaster won't acknowledge that the fucker is dead! I can't advance if I can't even claim my first (er...second...er third, actually, if you count the freelance poisoning I did for that goddess) kill! I hate glitchy games!

That's Neil Gaiman's best book right there you're sleeping on.

John (crying): You're right, Dr. Phil! I admit it...I DO have a problem!

I read The Great Gatsby pretty fast (for me, anyway). I thought it was okay. It didn't bowl me over, but I like the way F.S.Fitzgerald writes. This is the first novel that I've read for a while now that I'd be willing to admit I've read. 8-)
Great novel! I've read it twice, and each time in one sitting. That's quite a feat for someone like me, who has ADD.

Mr. Thomas Willecome, esq.--
Upon further listening to The Crane Wife, I have found that I quite like it, despite it's use of the word "thou" and its talk of pistols and sabers. The album's pretence is part of its appeal.
-
I just broke up with the girlfriend.
That...sucks? Rocks? I don't know. I hope it's a good thing for you.

Hate on This Is My Truth..., Know Your Enemy and Lifeblood all you like, Bili, but it'll be a cold day in hell before anyone'll convince me that The Holy Bible has anything remotely in common with feckin' Coldplay.
Not to mention that The Flaming Lips don't belong on that list either!
I'm glad someone said it!

Hey, Mr. Willecome:
I am currently listening to the Decemberists-The Crane Wife. I listen to an album 3 times before forming a definite opinion, but so far it's the cat's pajamas and all that.

While waiting for Angela's Ashes, I raced through John Le Carré's The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. It was pretty awesome. Le Carré's characters are incredibly well designed, and the ending, though I saw it coming, was pretty shocking anyways. The philosophy of the book was a good one, if a bit obvious. Though I do love the sensationalism of the James Bond books, this is a very nice counter-point to it.
Yes! I loved it, myself..I'm goint to read his first George Smiley novel soon...
BTW...got the message about Neuromancer...I'm going to look at my copy again and respond...I've been busybusybusy.
What were you reading for the 1st 3 years of this forum?

OH! Just started reading a book about pirates, but I don't remember the title or editor.
